Description
Jason Statham (CRANK, SNATCH) stars in this fast-paced and very loud trilogy of thrillers written specifically for him by French filmmaker Luc Besson. Statham plays Frank Martin, a former Special Forces operative who is now a high-priced courier paid a lot of money to deliver packages he would rather know nothing about. His creed: Never change the deal, use no names, and never look in the package.

What are "morones"?

I enjoyed all three movies (and have all of them on Blu-ray Disc).

The first one set-up character development for the latter two. The second was my favourite as the story was stronger, the last one (showing on Sky TV this week) had more action but the lead actress (after being spotted in the street then given acting lessons) could have been less 'wooden' in delivery (no pun intended). The driving & fighting sequences were notable though, even seeing the Audi A8 W12 four wheel drive system allowing Frank to turn the car onto two wheels by just flicking the car from side to side. I haven't seen that kind of driving since "Diamonds Are Forever".

PS. "Respect a man's car; a man respects you", "Greet the Man", & "Seat belt" :)

BFN,

fp.
