Can't beleive they are still bringing different DVD box sets out of this series. Were good films in their day but know nothng special. Sorry mate not saying it's a bad deal or anything jut can't understand why anyone would want 10 discs of this still.

Your kidding me, right? The first Matrixs film set an unprecedented standard in so many ways for a sci-fi film. I consider it one of the best films ever made whatever genre. Though I can live without the other 2.

Very true. Matrix was a class act. Other two were just expensive cash-ins.

I've never been interested in all of the additional material the studios insist we want to pay extra for.

Doesn't seems to have The Animatrix. Animartix stories are excellent, and very original i watch them over and over.

I bought this a month ago when it was retailing at £10.95 and I thought that was a great bargain! (I'd been waiting for this to drop from £20ish all year). For £9.95 it's an absolute no brainer.

One thing though, some of the discs in the boxset I received were scratched. Got a replacement, and it also had some scratched discs. Bad luck maybe... or perhaps there are quality control issues.

The first film is worth having, the other two are acceptable but not great.
As for the other extra's - I have the big bloated edition of this set that came with the Neo bust in a large clear case - I really wouldn't bother with them.

Incidently, I just checked by Play.com history and I paid £29.99 for it on the 12/03/2006. Not that it really means anything, just thought I'd share.
