Has any one used this company before?, currently learning the piano and think these could come in handy in the future to hear what pieces sound lound to aid in learning.
Really good price, great spot !!

I have used this company regularly and they are reliable.

You need to jump quickly! This offer runs out at midnight.

But it might not be advisable to compare yourself with the greats of the piano......

I am quite partial to a good bit of piano, but I couldn't justify paying this much for a collection this large. So an excellent deal, I just wish there was a smaller version for the same 'per item' price! :)

As birchmore said, the offer expired last night.

Seems a good set, though. Here's an Amazon review. (EDIT: oops, sorry, that was a different set)

Selections gave a special deal of 15% off most of its stock up to the end of December. This piano collection was just one of the bargains.

Still worth buying, however, even at the full price!

Beware though, some are ancient recordings from the former Soviet Union which sound pretty terrible, despite the quality of the playing. By the way Radio 3's 10 day Mozart fest starts today.

12 day Mozart festival, Musicals! It will take 12 days of continuous play to listen to all of mozarts compositions. But a very good recommendation. I am listening to it as I write.

Yes, some are fairly old, the Alfred Brendel recordings are his first attempts: critical reviews say that his recordings have changed little over time. The Clara Wurtz recordings are worth anyones money at this price. Even inadequate recordings of Richter are worth having!

Not continuous though, is it. They have plenty of documentaries and news bulletins and some concerts which repeat pieces played elsewhere. No doubt the most popular works will be played more than once too.

Your point is well made but I'd suggest that this "ultimate" set is for the connoisseur rather than an introduction to great piano music. And since when did Scarlatti write for the piano?
