How much experience of flying helicopters do the complainers have?
Its not something you can expect to master in 5 mins !
There is plenty of vids on youtube of these under control in skilled hands

it was outside and it didnt crash into anything. it just simply stopped operating correctly. and it seems im not the only one who has had a bad experience with them. So before you go shouting the odds let others give thier view on a product.

You do have to RTFM pretty carefully to get anything out of these but they can be quite fun if you persevere.

Sadly not at my local Tesco.

At £7.99 or even £4.99 these are worth a try - but I've flown a few different types and none of them were as much fun (or as easy to fly) as the picoz mini-aeroplane I had last Christmas.

I think i can see where you went wrong, good call by Spod

That's stating it's suitable to fly indoors, not unsuitable for outdoors. As in a big RC heli would state unsuitable for indoor flying.

Mine lasted a couple of hours then battery wouldn't charge.

These are indoor helicopters, any slight breeze will make them un flyable, indoors with a bit of practice, they are great fun.

Have you checked your batteries? These things are very hungry on power and really require fresh Alkaline cells to get the best out of them.

I have a PicoZ and modified the controller with a socket to accept an external PSU and performance dramatically improved. 2 years old and while battered it is still going strong. Why they don't add a socket is beyond me I guess it is down to cost as usual.

However these things aren't even fun any more after learning to fly a Walkera 4#3b. Even my TandomZ has been left to catch dust now ;-)
