Great show and means you don't have to rely on BBC2 and their scheduling around cricket and tennis

Are these the Australian ones in the weird packaging?
#4
Well they squeeze them in pretty tight - almost like a single DVD thickness.

I had trouble getting mine out of the packaging and I damaged the sleeve. (heavy handed a**e)

What a great series - I'm watching five now and it's going too quick - I'm rationing myself to 2 episodes a day.

This is on a par with Sopranos.

I find it hard to find an TV programs that interest me and would welcome recommendations.

It's hard to top The Wire, but you can always try The Shield. That and Battlestar Galactica are the only recent tv drama shows that I've gotten addicted to.

Gonna watch the last episode of season 5 tonight. Brilliant series. Not sure which is better The Wire or The Sopranos.

Sopranos are No.1 for me. Another series you could check out is Intelligence. It's Canadian but I can't seem to find it on dvd.

I met the man himself, Stringer Bell, when he was dj'ing in Glasgow the other week... legend! Was mighty surprised when he started talking in a broad cock-er-knee accent though!
#13
I think the beeb are leaving three weeks between each series.

"Generation Kill" springs to mind: Iraq War drama from the same team that did The Wire. Saw the first episode on a plane, planning to watch the whole series when I'm done with The Wire.

or go back and watch all 7 series of "Homicide: Life On The Street".......dammit now I've said it, I'm going to have to do that!!

Generation Kill was a good, I enjoyed it but I think a lot of people didnt. Was a bit slow in places but maybe it was like that for the soldiers.
