Apologies, just read the size (60x90). The very one is 60x70. Still good deal though.
£274.99 at very.co.uk plus 20% off first order. Just bought one. Delivery £6.99 i think, so £227 which is a bargain for such a good cooker.

Just had a freezer from them. Great company to deal with.
Please please dont buy with this company. Ive only just returned a washing machine to them. Very bad customer service. Never pick up their phonelines. The poor delivery driver had driven on his own from leicester and was being made to do all the driving deliver the goods and connect it all up by himself. I felt so sorry for him. The washing machine bolts were broken so he ended up lugging the thing back to his van.

Purchased this last year along with the toaster for £14 each, also one for mum. My mums lasted 9 months and mine until now about 12 months, same issue, it starts to leak from the bottom as it tilts when picking up. And I didn't notice until the base was full of water(surely an issue with safety)

Right gang, I've been doing more research today seeing as I'm likely to go ahead and put one in myself.
A useful site you may (or may not!) want to peruse -->http://www.thegreenlivingforum.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=21&sid=a548a0d185ce4adb29be48626a4%20%206a2bb
An interesting sticky on hearths as well. Seems that if you invest in a decent enough burner, you can d away with the need for a constructional hearth....
Ultimately, there are lots of factors to consider and costs saved in some areas may cause a greater bill in others. Also note their advice on starting stoves slowly to allow for heating up and expansion. That way you avoid buckling them.
hope this helps...

and it'll cost you three times that to have it "professionally" installed (mandatory ) but good price, looks nice
It is NOT mandatory to have it professionally installed. You can self install but must submit an application to building control at you local council who will check the install complies with building regs and approve if so. There is a fee which varies (for me is £270) for building control. If you're having an external chimney/flue fitted then a self install can save you a fortune if you buy and install, but be mindful of the dangers working at height, and follow the building regs.
I thought this was a multifuel stove, so assume it connects to gas? so would not be about to self install
Multifuel = the ability to burn SEPARATELY either Wood based fuel or coal based fuel. (never together)
Bojangles, you scare the hell out of me! oOX)
Why never together? we do and it was advised by our installer yes he is HETAS etc to do so if we have both available. We tend to chuck coal on later on in the evening and then a lump of wood before bed and load up with coal for the overnight burn.

Nasty gassing mix can easily occur, look it up.

I've been swatting up in preparation for having a stove in the near future, this might answer your question.. (from stovesonline.co.uk).....

We do not recommend that you burn wood and coal at the same time: burning coal produces sulphuric acid and wood can contain a lot of moisture - this combination can coat your chimney in sulphuric acid solution which can quickly eat away at anything. Plus the conditions for burning wood efficiently are not the same as those for burning coal efficiently.

For this price it should be A+++ energy rating and use less water in my view. Not voted, HUKD lacks DW deals
Do you have any examples of dishwashers that are A+++ for a similar price please? I am looking to buy soon.

iv not known that many people in my lifetime

True, but if you think you're only probably going to use it once a day, so that needs to cover the three meals in the day. Then all the pots and pans as well, it doesn't take much for an average family to fill up a dishwasher.
Unless you spend top money on a Siemens or Bosch dishwasher then I would avoid this. I bought one and then replaced it after a year as it wouldn't wash or dry properly. The issue is mainly around the spray arms that don't seem to cover well and that the cheaper Siemens ones have a plastic bottom on the tub. This is a hallmark of cheap dishwashers and affects the drying as it does not reflect heat like a full stainless tub will.

Can't see the model, let alone at the quoted price. Any help Banjax, or is it no longer available?

I'd much rather have a Panasonic with a 5 year parts and labour guarantee than a Bosch with 2 years. I'e seen comments on white goods forums about the poor quality of Bosch entry level washing machines and that's all you would get at this money. I have this Panasonic and so far brilliant, performs faultlessly, build quality seems excellent with decent switches and buttons and solid door etc. Miles better than the entry level Bosch stuff which I did look at in various stores.

I've always found Panasonic customer service excellent too so if there is any problems with the service agent I feel confident Panasonic will sort it.

These machines are just badged Vestels ( which have a hit and miss reputation ) added to which, Panasonic's after sales service is, by all accounts, not very good.
Panasonic's white goods division are simply trading on the company's reputation for making excellent TV's and entertainment systems. They are flogging cheap, re-badged machines in the hope that people buy them based purely on their name.
I'm a big fan of Panasonic goods but simply wouldn't go near one of these machines. For this sort of money you can get a good spec Bosch or equivalent.
But then, each to their own...
Whilst I have a dislike of rebadges and brand slaps in general, you won't find a good spec Bosch together with a 5 year parts & labour warranty for £250.

But if the manufacturer's aftersales service is poor then the warranty, however long, is pretty pointless and given that these are cheap machines that will sell by the bucket load, Panasonic have little incentive to provide a quality service.
They dont hold any stock of spare parts in this country so when anything does fail it has to be ordered and shipped from Turkey.

So, no you wont find a Bosch for £250 but you will find a good quality basic one for around £300 with 2 year guarantee and excellent and reliable customer service.

I know which I'd choose
I purchased one yesterday - to be delivered on the 4th of April.....I then realised that the cashback and warranty requires purchases to have been made prior to the 31st of March ... I called them up and they said although delivery is on the 4th of April the reciept will say 20/03/2014 so fingers crossed

Apparently these are made in Turkey and the 9kg ones are made in Japan , so if you want a true Panasonic the 9kg should be a lot better quality
Believe me as somebody in the white goods repair industry...... They aren't.
Care to expand on where they are made then please? Genuine question from a Panasonic washing machine owner....
I think we both know these are made in Turkey as we both have this model and its clearly stated.
Errr.... please DO NOT put words into my mouth.... I said I have a Panasonic washing machine, I did NOT say I have this model....
Anyway, you state "its clearly stated (sic)".... can you tell me where so that I might check?

Oh sorry I thought you had the same model as me. Mine was clearly stated on the label from the packaging that I had to use for the cashback and guarantee claim.

I've had no end of trouble with mine. John Lewis eventually exchanged it for a Siemens. Wouldn't buy another Panasonic. Should stick to making TVs.

All installed and working great. Love the display and the features. Had to use a hose clip to secure the waste water pipe as slightly different to my old washing machine. 15 minute wash seems great and spins the clothes enough for my tumble dryer. Not much negative to say really. Very heavy compared to my old washing machine but that only had a 4.5kg max capacity compared to the 7kg on this one.
Got mine tuesday but not installing it until the weekend. Looks amazing for the price, feature packed and great build quality. Already registered for the cashback and guarantee. The topcashback has already been paid plus 1% back on my credit card which is just over £3. So the end price is about £245 or less than £50 a year for each guaranteed year. Also A+++ rated so additional savings with low running costs.
,this is not that price..not 247.. it s cash price is 359 plus extra,,
Turned up yesterday, all installed today! Really impressed with it! Such a better machine to the other £240 machines we were considering! Thanks OP! Very classy look and definitely looks better in real life than in the pictures!

I've submitted for my 5 year warranty and £50 cashback. It's very easy on the panasonic website. I just took a pic of the barcode in the door and my receipt and bluetoothed it to my computer.

Hope you enjoy yours too.

Chinese manufactured machines which are inherently unreliable. I've got a Panasonic side by side fridge freezer, which is absolutely fine (although flimsy interior furniture) but the washing machines are best steered clear of. The five year warranty is useful as this is how long it takes to fix it given the length of time it takes to get the parts to fix it. May be a good deal, but I wouldn't buy it as you would be expecting it to break down prematurely and then get frustrated when the third party engineer tells you it will take a month to get the parts for it.

This one isn't Chinese though its made in Turkey by Vestel.

Out of the frying pan comes to mind...

I called them and asked them to send a receipt with correct (upgraded) model number on it.
They emailed it in 5 mins. Have applied for cashback, lets see how it goes.

Side comment - delivery man who did the connection was nice but too lazy to do anything properly.
Hi,
Who's had their washer delivered? Mines tomorrow. Have you got your cashback from Bosch?
Umm interesting, I was told on Tuesday that my machine would be delayed by a week because of a stock issue at Bosch. Nothing about upgrading the spec. Think I'll ring Gas Superstore today to see what is happening.
Me too, but I'm not sure we'll get the cashback. It all depends if they update the receipt to reflect the new machine which you can then use to claim. I purchased based on it costing 329 after cashback, I don't necessarily want a higher spec model for 379 with no cashback.
Can someone that's been upgraded tell me if their order now shows as the WAQ28461GB?
Just had a phone call, they have upgraded mine because so stock issue too! What a bargain 8)

We have an old Siemens washer and it has been great for about the last 12 years. I have been told that John Lewis own brand washers are made by AEG if anyone is looking for a cheaper alternative.
john lewis appliances are in general made by electrolux who own aeg, products can be made anywhere but they at the moment are sourcing alot from china.
only a quid cheaper but £399 at RGB Direct
mortimer1111
good price for a washer with 5yrs, but this siemens model lower end not made in German, as I initially thought being siemens Neff etc.. and the rrp was when it was first launched.

if you get a iq500 total different motor friend got one on line for more must add £525 with 5 yr.

ive recently bought a aeg 5yr cover for £379 at fenwicks home event had chance of above for same price but told aeg model made Germany where lower siemens models made out of Germany which I was taken back by.

Don't get me wrong its a good washer for 5 yr cover but if you think this siemens is made in Germany its not has same motor as iq100, still better than basic bosch,

I don't care if its made on Mars & the motor is same as what's in my old train set as long as it works & I get £400 worth of use out it. You have a point if the machine is junk, but many reviews say otherwise!
I have this model as well and can say it does feel a quality made machine and appears to do a good wash - this in comparison to a Hotpoint it replaced. My father-in-law who used to fix washing machines for a living was impressed when he saw and heard it and its got many good reviews online.

I can't remember if I checked for a made in germany logo anywhere on it although I have read online before I bought it that someone confirmed theirs did.

The 15min wash in my opinion is a bit rubbish as it only spins at like 400 or 800 so its practically still wet when it comes out so takes an age to dry, its worth spinning it again at 1400 just to reduce the drying time if in a rush.

We use the mixed fabrics setting mostly which a 1hr or 1hr 8min on Eco mode, about 40-50 min on speed mode.

Definitely a good buy at £400 quid
