#4

#5

#6
Wow, is this a joke?

As for the match, I would honestly rather it was anyone BUT the germans. Given our country's history with them in the past....
#7
White ones should be cheap soon as they are due a new home top in March 2011 I think. Red one came out this year so valid for two years.

Wait for Sports Direct to knock em out cheap.
#8
Heskey for Defoe when you need to score goals???
No Crouch, he always scores
I'm fed up of football already

All of England's jerseys made by Umbros are as rubbish as the teams performace. There is no design and no quality of the jerseys and I refuse to buy it based on that
#13
What a bargain, I am Welsh and I will have to buy several to remind me of all the happy times they gave me in this world cup yet again!!!

so true....who owns the brand. Mike Ashleys company and who owns sports direct the same Mike Ashley.

Its all a con these days....buy struggling brands, campri, lonsdale, karrymore and buy cheap clothes, put a "brand on it" hey presto you can sell it for twice the price as primark...when it probably came from same factory/region anyway.

We were at home saving 6million pound a year on managers not counting payoff after payoff after payoff after payoff after payoff.

Unlike the English we don't delude ourselves into thinking if we throw enough money at managers we will win the world cup just because we pay them more than any other country..Its also the reason all our road signs are made from gold, our traffic lights harness the Northern Lights and we have several condo's on the moon - amazing what you can buy with the savings on rubbish managers!
#25
..i've heard that halfords are gonna be giving them away with their car wax!!!
#26
wouldnt be so bad if they apologised for their dismal performance throughout the tournament
#27
Hey they did great my lad won about £70 backing Germany to win.

Lol...

Winning a World Cup is priceless, and the payoff money is pennies in the world of Football, so the payoffs and high wages are so worth it.

At least England have a chance of winning a WC.

Why is it all the other nations that make up the UK always want England to lose?
If England don't make the finals of a major competition then I would support Wales, Scotland, N.Ireland (even the Republic of Ireland) ahead of anyone else and I believe quite a lot of people from England would do the same.
We as a nation always build ourselves up (and get let down) BUT we do have potentially the players to be challenging for a title whereas unfortunately a Welsh or Scottish team doesn't (I wish they did).
The media are the biggest antagonists in this, praising England and then ripping them to shreds when they fail (although this time they were pathetic)
Shame we can't all get behind each other.
Back on topic - the white shirt is awful really but if it drops to £15 I'll get one :)

No. You do not.

Andy Gray and Richard Keys would have you believe that your best player, Rooney, is one of the world's best.

In reality, he is not even in the top 10.

Sorry, but we do have a chance, and the chance is a lot bigger than the Welsh and Scottish.

And I agree, Rooney right now is not good, I think everyone that watched the World Cup saw his rubbish performance.
#32
So hows that chance working out for you? England always think they are going to win it but oddly always come up shorter than Gary Coleman....

You ever heard of odds?

Just because you "can't" 100% win a World Cup doesnt mean you cannot win it. Italy and France, two major teams are gone when in theory they should EASILY be in playing right now.

Then you have New Zealand who should of lost every single game.

Maybe you should play some poker and then you might understand things like this a bit better.

And we always think England are going to win because it's supporting a team, we are either British or live in the UK and support them in the WC, imagine your Country gets into the WC and you slate them everytime saying "We are not going to win" - Just being in the World Cup is a priviledge.
#34
I'm just glad the rest of Britain can now watch the world cup matches without an england update before, during and after the game.

I agree with supporting the home nations it's just slapped in your face at every opportunity. If I am watching a game with England playing fair enough. But for the build up, at half time and after a match that is not even featuring England I would rather have updates in to the teams playing off pitch progression NOT ENGLAND!

It is not hard to do after all we have regional TV Channels. It has nothing to do with 'my countries team is not at the world cup so have a dig at england' I would never begrudge England a shot at the biggest title in football. I just want to know more about the other teams playing and during their own matches seems like the perfect time for the BBC and ITV to educate it's viewers on other countries and teams.

ITV commentator was rubbish last night. "How about that, Brazil scoring a British goal".

Please, give it a rest.

And "English linesman, Darren Cann, is at the top of his trade right now" ha ha just got to cling to any involvement at all. Just like in 2006, when they had to mention at every opportunity that there was English representation in the World Cup final, because Simone Perrotta was born in England.

Nike own Umbro (hence the strips appearing in the Nike WC advert). The owners of JJB and Sports World used to have shares in umbro to give themselves leverage in price negotiations. Nothing to do with making the stuff.
