I have seen these on sale for £10+ at other places, and in Woolies recently for just £6.99, but £3.99 seemed a good price to me for an item that every house shouldn't be without.

Thanks for the wind up :) Great idea to keep one of these handy in case of power cuts!

Hi mate. Thanks for the post!! In future though, could you please make your title a bit more descriptive as I have done for you now.

Something like "This is a wind up . . ." isn't very helpful to those members browsing the forums or, worse, to those who receive email alerts which wil simply list the deal as "This is a wind up . . ." and so they probably won't bother making the special trip here to look at the deal you've just posted.

Thanks,
Ducky. :)

Keep up the deal hunting!!

We know that, but I bet most of the torches in your house don't have batteries in like mine and you have to fumble around in the dark looking for some!! Or the batteries run out... sods law and all that!! :-D

Hehe ryoooh  I have to laugh at myself for saying that  Even though ducky is right, batteries always run out at the wrong time

Candles here too Mike, but it's the same, we put them somewhere safe, then fumble around in the dark for them when they're needed lol
