Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten.You see, most blokes,
you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up,
all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar.
Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: These go to eleven.
Is it recorded in dobley?
Really cool but some caution if you are thinking of getting this as a xmas present. From the reviews on Amazon quality could be an issue.

Also, if you are thinking that the amp will be good for a guitarist, unless they are a beginner I wouldn't bother as they really are more novelty than quality.

Even after saying the above I'm still tempted! Some things just don't make sense - like the title to Nigel's piano piece.
I was looking for this yesterday and this was the best website price I found. However if anyone actually wants it there's a shop trading through ebay doing new ones for £32.99 delivered so you may wanna look there.
The little Marshall practise amps can be had for about £15, so I'm not sure how much of a bargain this is, unless you are a die-hard Spinal Tap fan in which case you've probably got the disks already.

Of course the normal ones only go up to 10 - I guess this is 1 louder

Thanks, saved me £45
