Very large trackmaster road and rail set. Apparently retails for £99.99, and currently £49.99 at Toys R US. I bought this in the Sunderland store, plenty of stock.

Spotted these today when I was getting the Cranky loader thing.
Looks like a hell of a lot of toy for £30.
If my son didnt already have a shedload of the wooden and take-along/take and play stuff I would have got this as well.

According to quite a few reviews of the loader the kids love it but if they give it so much as a dirty look never mind touch it it falls to bits leading to tears before bedtime.
If Id wanted something he could only look at I could have got the Misty Island DVD for half the price.

I'm in the same boat lol, got one from B & M's then read the reviews, I hope it isn't as bad as they make out, I don't mind if a piece of track comes loose now and again but don't want to spend all day fixing it ;)

Thanks for this - been to my local B&M today and managed to get this for my son!! Was about to pay £50 for it from Toys r Us which is reduced from £99!! Also picked up some extra Trackmaster things like the Sodor Airport reduced to just £3.99!!

Its a hell of a lot of toy for 30 quid and looks like you have spent a fortune.
My son already has loads of take-along/take-n-play and wooden Thomas stuff otherwise I would have got this myself but I dont want to start a 3rd scale of Thomas toys.

Bought one of these from B&M in Leven in Fife only last week, what a cracking buy ! Everone else from Toys r Us to Amazon want between £50 and £80, it pays to shop around.
