Popped into TJ Hughes today and saw plenty of half price Thomas Take Along Sets.

Thomas Beginners Set £4.99 from £9.99
Toby’s Mainline Set £19.99 from £39.99
Thomas Starter Set £6.49 from £12.99 (Same as Debenhams deal IIRC)
Thomas Figure 8 Set £9.99 from £19.99

The website link I posted shows less sets available online that was instore as I think they had a water tower set as well.

Anyway, hope this helps some of you on the run up to Christmas, I can’t see them being around long at these prices.

May have to take a trip to Plymouth and have a look for these. TK max have now started to stock the trains. Worth checking them out if you have one near.

Beat me to it...
Just been to the Coventry store and they have shed loads of these around (I'd say at least 20 of the mainline sets and probably a good 10-15 od the figure-of-8 sets).

Also, teh Coventry store had the better bargain of a Water Tower figure-of-8 set for £9.99 (can't remember how much it was down from though).

Considering the water tower alone is at Entertainer for £7 thats a pure bargain ;-)

Rackhams B'ham have the mainline set for £24.99 in case you can't get to the Coventry store

Will be checking these out tomorrow, seems like there are a few offers around for the take along Thomas stuff, I know there has been a change of packaging on the trains. Toys R Us have got some of the trains at half price and home bargain had a little run of them recently too. My 3 year old son loves them and the trains feel good quality.

Also avaliable online if you can't get to a store

good deal, just a shame that they have so many types of thomas sets and none of them are interchangeable
