Sorry, voting cold. I bought the unbranded train for £13.50 from Empire Stores a few months ago and then there is the reduced one in Argos if you can get hold of one for £39.99

£13.50 and £39.99 were not for this battery train! And those cheap, unbranded non-battery ones haven't been available in either place for months! This is the officially licenced battery train, and you'll be hard-pressed to find it for less than £160 anywhere else presently :thumbsup:

My little boy is Thomas obsessed. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has one as my little boy turned 2 only the other week and it was a bit sedate for him - so wonder if it is more suited to a one year old?

I bought one of these last year when they were on offer (they usually are!) and it was rubbish. My 2yr old liked it a bit, but bored very quickly. Fourunately it broke, so I was able to return it for a refund! The one I had was with the multicoloured plastic track - I think there's one with wooden figure-of-8 tracks available elsewhere which is much better.
