The Thor Blu-ray is based on one of Marvel Comic’s most classic and well loved characters, Thor. The film follows Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) attempts to gain entry back into his kingdom after his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins), banishes him to Earth. New to Earth, Thor teams up with a scientist named Jane (Natalie Portman) and seeks a way to get back into his kingdom. Unaware of the ill fate his home will be subject to if he does not succeed, will Thor be too late? The Thor Blu-ray is a brilliant watch for all those who love classics such as Spider-Man and Batman, and will not leave you disappointed.

Jump to unread Post a CommentI disagree. In comparison with Spider-man's origin story this is easily on a par. It's better than Spider-man 3 by a distance, but doesn't quite compare to Spider-man 2.
It's not a Batman or an Iron Man, but enjoyable nonetheless.
But Natalie Portman in HD, complaining? No.
Brannagh cast all roles superbly, creates a rich world and exceeds expectations in this. Portman is admittedly weak, but she's not really the focus is she? A good purchase at this price.
Anyone who disagrees gets a smack from my might Mjolnir !
Agreed, at that point it went from epic superhero film to cheesy predictable comedy. I still enjoyed the film overall and will pick it up when it hits the £6-£7 mark.
It looks gorgeous in HD as well (the CGI and Natalie Portman, of course).
EDIT: Voted hot, of course!
