i wont be making a special journey to a thorntons shop or even coop that cost money in petrol and possible parking charge rather pay a extra £1 or so and put it in with my grocery shop at a large supermarket.and i bet most people will do the same.so it is a good deal.

Currently suing Tescos for a beer display that exploded all over my 6 month old daughter so not gonna make a special visit there! Seriously though I do think their £5 christmas selection looks better.

Please unexpire this - I have just been out for some and can confirm that the offer is still on (Tesco Stevenage).

BTW I think it's a great deal.

Absolutely not. Just got these as a gift for my friends a couple of days ago - they were so much cheaper than usual so decided to post the deal.

How can it be compared to the 5 quid one there's more chocs in this one
#19
this box is well over £10 usually and was closer to £15, the small box is usually £5 and this is way way bigger great deal i was looking for some chocs for a Xmas pressie and this will do fine.

Why's this deal expired?

Certainly was available in my local store yesterday (not been today, but presumably still on)

It's not a BOGOF deal as psoted a couple of weeks ago ... Six and a half of your Great British Pounds would secure you one of these boxes. :)

People expire deals because they can - simple! Hotdeals should certainly change the way people can just expire a deal with absolutely no reason/comment whatsoever - I have been saying this for ages but it seems to fall on deaf ears. I think the should sift out the genuine users of this site and get rid of the rubbish.

Except this lot never listen to their customers. The recent "upgrade" and subsequent threads prove beyond doubt the level of contempt Admin and his chums hold us in.
It'd simple piece of code to display who had expired a deal - so as to display "Expired by . A little more effort so the that person expiring the deal would get a pop up asking for the reason - and then either sending the reason to a Mod (for reference), or adding a note on the persons profile, so folk can see who's expired what and why.

Personally I only expire a deal when it's gone out of stock, or it's gone up in price - which I assumed was the only valid reasons for expiring.

And so say all of us! I honestly think if someone has taken a dislike to you on this site, they either expire your deals or vote cold for that very reason. I am afraid I have taken my bat and ball home on quite a few comments on this site, but I would never expire/vote cold on deals unless it was genuine. Unfortunately, not all people have morals, but this site should never turn into a slanging match between users.
