I know just saw the photos. Still seems okay. I've never been before, must be packed out everyday?

To be fair though with a ruddy great theme park a couple of minutes walk away you're not going to be spending a great deal of time in the hotel room.

£42.25 per person for 2 days entry, hotel stay, breakfast, early park entry.
In the school holidays.
That seems really really good. Wonder what the catch is.

does anyone know if these rooms have a microwave?

Good deal.

Went to Thorpe Park for the first time last month.
Looking tatty and rundown around the edges, needs some £'s spending on it.

If you can get an Alton Towers deal I'd go for that.
Far better park.

did quick search on photos for the hotel and youtube vids - rooms sure look small, but wondering....are they all rooms with 4 seperate small beds? Or some 2+2s etc? Just thinking of a cpl of days with the mates, so rather have seperates than 'top n tail' :)

The 4th picture (which it cycles through on the Wowcher page) shows a double bed and a set of small bunk-beds.

id suggest ringing the hotel before purchasing the voucher and ask about the bedroom layout

We live in Kingston so we would not need a hotel. Is there any 2 for 1 deal somewhere online?

Would get seriously bored of Thorpe Park over 2 days.

Don't like Thorpe park, had to wait sometimes hours for the popular rides for like less then a minute ride. normally get fast tracks etc but can work out expensive if lot of you.

Nothing can compare with Florida or other parks in the USA, not sure why the UK cant do something similar, rides here are poor in comparison as well as the entertainment etc.

Anyway after last experience of Thorpe park, with numerous rides breaking down after being in the que for a while, I doubt ill go back, although as a sorry I did get offered a free lot of fast track tickets for me and my friends.

its the same at most places, been to alton towers 3 times over last couple months and once to chessington,

rides breakdown at most of them, at Alton towers you well spend the best part of 2 hours for smiler, and 30 to 45 mins for rita, oblivion, air, and nemesis, and the water rides
i got to say though, the best experience is the first 10 seconds of Rita.

the only decent proper ride at chessington is the cobra, the rest are not so good, my favourite was bumper cars and that's saying something, the zoo is ok, i would recommend the bird enclosure, its £2 for a few drops of nectar so they come sit on your arm to drink, it gets expensive for a family, next time ill take my own nectar!

fast tracks are not really that fast, you just go in the queue for single riders, and on popular rides the wait is still long, not worth the money imo

I would never go to a theme park during the school holidays but this is hot for anyone that has to

The cabins are small but we (4 adults) stayed in them in April. It's adequate for the night. When it comes to getting changed n stuff we just had 2 in and the other 2 went to the shop or whatever. I think they're all one double bed and bunk beds. Has shower/toilet room, beds, small storage work top with mirror and hanging space and a TV on the wall with free channels.

This is a good deal. Just out of interest anybody wanting Alton Towers. I did 2 days there for less than the price of this at Thorpe Park. Me, the missus, and 2 kids, did 2 days at Alton Towers for around £125 in the holidays last year. I had been earlier on in the year and got 4 tickets to come back anytime for £15 each. Then you could come back the next day for £5 each. I did this and stopped in a travel lodge near the M6 which was about 20 minutes drive from the park. That was about £45 for 4 of us for the night, nothing fancy just a bed, but that's all we wanted. Even if you use a 2 for 1 voucher it will still be around £90 for 2 adults and 2 kids to get in on the first day, then a fiver a head to come back the next day (although I have heard this might have gone up to £9 now). Still cheapish for 2 days and a night stop over though.
