Right well i just got back from Thorpe Park and managed to get an annual pass for £26 and only paid £17.50 to get in, a total of only £43.50, considering entrance for one adult is normally £35 I thought this was awesome and had to post it up, ive included the details of how to do this below in the first post, plus the annual pass also gives you 20% off everything is thorpe park, added bonus =]

Note this will only work for one of the fully paid ticket not the free one you get

Also dont see why this wouldnt work with all the other individual Merlin Entertainment aswell Passes

Edit: Initial ticket price per person, £35
Only full paying adults entitled to season ticket discount
Free ticket holder (if entitled to buy one get one free) will not receive season ticket discount
So basically £17.50 off your annual pass

Right Well heres what you do;

Download and Print off this voucher to take when you plan on going to Thorpe Park, - Vocuher Entitles you to buy one get on free on tickets.

Next go to the park and buy 2 tickets at one of the booths for you and a friend who will get their ticket free (split the money thats what we did)

Then when your ready go to the annual pass desk and say you want the student thorpe park annual pass and hand them the ticket that says £35 on it not £0.00 and voila you only have to pay £28 more to get the annual pass, instead of £35 a visit if you dont have the voucher.

Note: I didnt know this when i went as I got the pass when we were leaving but if the get the pass at the beginning they will give you a voucher that acts as your annual pass and you get 20% everything in the themepark

Normal Price: £68
Student Price: £61
They take off the Ticket Value: £35 (but you only paid £17.50)
How much you pay for the annual pass: £26
Total Paid Value Including entrance: £43.50

Also if you want to upgrade to a full Merlin Entertainment Annual Pass for access to all the parks is a mere £90 more, making its £106 (£123.50 with entrance fee) instead of £150

Hope this saves someone some moneyyyy =]

So what your're saying is that it's only £43.50 for unlimited entry into thorpe park?

if thats true then this deal will be super hot. considering how much a normal ticket is and this is only £43.50 for one year

but i still dont understand how the op got it even after such a long explanation
#4
Nice one - would I need to take my NUS card with me? I'm guessing 'yes'!
#5
o i get it now

will help many students

even though everyone else can get it im sure

as students is just a discount but everyone else can get it to
#6
It's only £26 once you've paid full entry anyway, so it's a bit misleading

ye but the £17.50 (Price of each buy one get on free ticket) is the price you pay for your ticket orignally so in actual fact all your paying for the year is the £26

ye but because you get the buy one get one free ticket its £17.50 less than what you would normally pay, but they still refund the full £35 ticket rate

Well she asked for mine but without it its only £6 more i think

I saw ads stating that you'll get a full refund on your ticket for the day, if you purchase the anual pass, which is something like £65 but I can't remember the exact fee.

I wouldn't recommend this unless you've already purchased the ticket, as you can buy a merlin annual pass (includes alton towers, chessington, thorpe park, legoland, madame tussauds, london eye etc) for about £30 more than this offer.

It depends what you're looking for exactly but this is a good deal if you're only interested in Thorpe Park and you plan on visiting a few times within the next year.

If only I lived nearer thorpe park...

Now Im definately going to Uni at Warwick!!
#11
Putting it in simple terms what you're saying is £17.50 off you're annual pass if you use a bogof voucher to get in.

Or you could use £37.50 worth of tesco clubcard vouchers to get a Merlin annual pass.
#12
Just out of interest how would you comapre Thorpe Park to Alton Towers?
#13
its poo compared to alton towers, same price but towers has so much more

but obviously, if your in the area its better as there quite a way apart
#14
I think thorpe park is similar to alton towers. Thorpe park the rides are much close together and there are less rollercoasters. It depends what you want out of a theme park really. Thorpe park is probably better for kids or lasy people as there is less walking to do!

However if your old and love the scenery aspect, Alton towers is more scenic, with long beatiful walks (not that this is what I would go to a theme park for!)
#15
Woaah this deal is gonna be hot, its perfect if you live near TP like me, with this i could basically go all the time if i wanted!!!!

Makes perfect sence to me aswell ->

Check out the rides at thorpepark.com Stealth and Collusus are awesome plus they got the new Saw ride which seemed pretty gd

Alton Towers is better and bigger but they are both for thrill seekers just a shame that they cost the same

Thorpe Park has free parking, no hidden charge
#22
It's not £26, it's £43.50 as you clearly explained in your post. Please edit to show the true value you have to pay. You can't simply pay £26 for an annual pass.

Very misleading!
