I'll never go back to three. They hiked my bills up from £12.50 to £25 earlier this year and took away unlimited data. Much more money for less service. Sounds fair?!

Do you live in opposite land?

Perfect timing for me as I'm giving Vodafone the heave ho after their ridiculous price hike.

3 did nothing wrong.....the One plan couldn't run forever, we all had the option to change or leave. My Sky subscription has just gone up mid contract, that's p.oop.

of course Three did not that Vodafone recently started overcharging people recently and also refused to admit there was a problem until people started getting ofcom involved. Also not to mention worst 4g signal in London (central) - can't even watch bbc I player without buffering all the time. luckily for lm now rid of them after they paid me the compensation for months and months misery. Now EE double speed 4g and it amazing it's even faster than my sky fiber and lm not that far from my exchange neither. so be warned.

Actually three do in many countries, including some European ones.

Stop being so cheap. No other network offers all that for £12.50 so it going up is still cheaper than other networks.

If three has been offering this to its customers on the one plan lots of customers wouldnt have left.
Including me. Actually i asked for less internet allowance (less than 30GB) for this kind of price and couldnt even do that.
They made a big mistake not to make offers like this earlier.

Likewise, but then with less competition in the now oligopoly market has seen prices rise massively across the board. Don't like it? Don't pay for it then but the alternatives aren't great. I phoned them to get my PAC code and got offered a decent deal so stayed but would have happily gone elsewhere.

The prices are still considerably better than the frankly obscene charges the companies get away with in North America. An example there is $65pm for unlimited calls and texts and 6GB of data. Three do that with 8GB of data for £25...

ive just been on the phone to 3 over the last month or so, and they gave me a retention deal.
Unlimited minutes - 8gb data - unlimited texts - free tethering £16pm rolling 1 month which i thought was pretty good.

Great deal. Will get this for the bride.

change in price is a change in contract, therefore you could have left or taken out a new one.
#30
im paying 15/month unlimited mins/texts/data and never have had any limitation with hotspot usage (tethering data is always set at 4GB remaining)
#31
I'm paying £20/month for unlimited everything with 3. I heard about them cutting out unlimited data but haven't had a call or letter yet. didn't realise they were hiking priced too.
3 Likes #32
I'm really confused by all the people slating 3 for the price hike.
Yes, they raised the price on a deal that really was an outstanding price, it was going to happen at some point.
Then you have 2 choices, cancel your contract with no fee's involved and go to the second best deal. The one that you would've chosen if this wasn't available anyway so you have lost nothing.
Continue using 3 and pay the new fee, which is still reasonable.

What's the issue!?

Yes 3 do allow hotspot/tethering they even specifically say "On our All-you-can-eat data plans, you can use up to 30GB of your data each month to create a Personal Hotspot within the UK."

I too was a little disgruntled with the changes to the One Plan.
But then on reflection, nobody else offers Unlimited Data and 30gb tethering.

Until someone does I can't really complain.

Was good while it lasted though.

I'm with 3 at the moment, out of contract on £17pm. Can I keep my same number with this?

Actually never mind just thinking about it after the 6 months I'll be stuck on £23 p/m rather than 17 and won't get the old contract back anyway.. May give it a miss this time
#39
Definitely 4G ?. Got my sim yesterday after buying on Thursday. Went for AYCE, 200 mins but unlimited texts.
