what's the catch - seems to be a bargain as I normally have to pay £10 for a top up.
suspended#2
bought one of these off ebay for £8.49, works spot on.
#3
take it you have to buy dongle seperate?
#4
Might be right for my dad in law.

I posted this yesterday, but because it was an Amazon seller and not Amazon (although fulfilled by Amazon) I didn't think posting was allowed. I don't know where I got that idea from, may have made it up.

Anyway, cracking deal for 3 Months/3GB (1 Month/1GB also available).
Bought two myself.
#6
is 3GB alot? need it for browsing and maybe watch some iplayer programs, want it for my ipad.
#7
Thanks - mine is on order.
#8
Will this work in an ipad?
#9

#10

Yes.

I have been using the 1gb ones in my dongle for a long time. The last lot I got from TTsims have to be activated by the end of mar 2011. So just a warning before people by loads that the sims have an expiry date. I don't know the date one these obviously.
#13
Will this work directly in a 3G iphone?
#14
Yeah i had googled it, was more of a statement than a question.
Cheers.

Ive ordered one.
Original seller has sold out, new seller is cheaper but more on postage, about the same price in the end.
#15
Just bought the 1 month \1 GB version for £5 from Argos - this is cheap as chips.

I don't remember Voltro's post being there when I started mine.
I think it was just a case of overlapping.
I could be wrong though, I often am X)

Apologies to you and Voltro if any offence has been caused, I am not here for fame just to get and share a good deal.

It's a lot for web surfing, but video will absolutely burn through it - regular iplayer you might get 4 hours out of it, and HD more like 2.

If it is just a normal PAYG Sim like mine, I got mine preloaded with 1GB, once it runs out you can top up £2 for 1 day 500MB, £15 for 1 Month 3GB, or what i'm using £25 for 1 Month 7GB
#24

If your dongle is unlocked you can, but you will have to flash it with the 3mobile firmware.

I had an old O2 dongle that was unlocked so I just flashed it with the 3mobile firmware.

Can this sim card be used abroad

I actually bought 8 of these the other day for our charity.

We have a pay as you go MIFI and these are brilliant, we dont use it that much so 3gb is fine.

I know 8 does seem alot but we were gave a grant so we bought a few extra for the
future.

I would really recommend a mifi device if you havent got one there ace!!!

and this is a brilliant deal.

I too use MiFi and I agree that it is a great tool.
Use it with my iPod Touch and netbook
#31
Surprised this isn't hotter. Ideal if you've already got the dongle.

heavy iplayer use will eat bandwidth.
you would need to consider significantly more then 3gb / month for regular iplayer use.
assuming occasional iplayer use, consider good price / bandwidth ratio c/w microsim:

I have a Vodafone sim which costs £15/1G, which may seem expensisve, but as long as it's used at least every 6 months never expiers. For occasional use with a notebook when not home is perfect for my needs!
#34
thank you :)

Will these sims work in any 3 dongle? Just asking because it says unlocked 3 dongle in the description.

good question...

good deal either way though!
#37
Good initial deal but once the first three months is up, top ups are at 3's standard rates with a choice of daily/weekly/monthly tariffs.

Just a buy a couple of them :-).. works out a load cheaper than some of the pay monthly deals out there for data.
#39
Is it possible to use the 3GB of data in say... A day??

Or does it limit u to 1gb per month over the 3 months???
