How do you get quidco if you go directly to those links? Thanks!
#5
I think it will be something like:

Clear cookies
Put this deal in your basket

Then Click through Quidco Link
Go Through The Refer A Friend Bit on the 3 site
Go to basket

That should work.
#6
Thanks for your help. When do the offers end? Also, why don't they come up when you go directly to the three website? Thanks.
#7
Why does the E169 Black stick cost more? Also, what's the difference between the E-series sticks and the ZT stick?

I haven't voted yet, but I thought it looked like a good deal - why the negative votes?
#8
Yeah why cold! This deal looks good! Just have to be very careful you don't go over the allowance or the per Mb rate will soon add up.
#9
Bought this for my techno-phobic olds who live in the sticks and they have good coverage there.

Managed to download a torrent at around 130kbps average.

Personally as a user of 3 mobile broadband ive found it an awful lot more reliable than o2 mobile bb. I travel a lot with work and found the o2 coverage shocking, gprs in most places, where as in most locations I go to 3 gives me 3.5g coverage and im not talking big city centres here.

Great service

The wireless router is a GREAT idea - this means I can use this with my Linux netbook!

I notice though, you can only use it with Huawei modems, so the ZT stick is out if I want the wireless router.

It's in the forum rules. I've already issued warnings & infractions in this thread for people who have exchanged referral details via PM & it's been mentioned a number of times.

Where did you get £12.50 quidco figure from? Shouldn't it be more?
#15
£1.50 for Mobile Broadband 1GB - Existing Customer Offer
£12.50 for Mobile Broadband 5GB - Existing Customer Offer

I have edited the quidco for 3GB as seemingly there may be none. It all comes under the existing customer offer quidco from previous threads.

Where are these deals coming from? Can't seem to find them anywhere apart from the direct links so it's a bit weird to me....

BTW - you stated 3GB broadband, but I'm sure the links are to 5GB packages (which makes it even better)
#20
Amended.. thanks. Thought it was 3GB for some reason.

50% Mobile Broadband - Terms & Conditions
Offer available direct from 3 only until 30th November 2008 on a new Mobile Broadband Lite, 5GB or 15GB price plan when either: (1) an existing customer on a Pay Monthly phone or mobile broadband price plan later subscribes to a new Mobile Broadband plan; or (2) when a new approved customer subscribes to a new Pay Monthly price plan and a new Mobile Broadband price plan at the same time; (3) when a new approved customer subscribes to a new Mobile Broadband price plan and subscribes to a second Mobile Broadband price plan at the same time; or (4) when an existing Pay Monthly customer upgrades to a new Pay Monthly price plan and subscribes to a new Mobile Broadband price plan at the same time. The new/second Mobile Broadband price plan must have a minimum term of 18 months. Customers will lose their continuing eligibility for the half price mobile broadband plan if they terminate their existing plan prior to the end of their Mobile Broadband minimum term agreement. In other words the two plans have to run concurrently. Offer must be mentioned at the time of order as it cannot be applied later and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 50% discount will be forfeited if either contract is in arrears or disconnects from the 3 network (for whatever reason). Terms apply. See instore or three.co.uk

I presume this offer is only available if already a 3 customer of some sort
#23
The terms and conditions only apply to current customers by logging in to the site. The links provided work for everyone who uses them.

I've just successfully ordered the E169 5GB deal for £7.34 a month, and I've never touched 3 before.

HOT deal! Rep added!
#24
Somehow I managed to get the D100 wireless router for £24.99 when taking out the deal too.

I was gonna do a new deal post, but I can't get it to replicate any more, it keeps showing at £69.99. Odd,

Is the £10 modem faster?

Is the £10 modem faster?

In theory yes, but in practice no.

The E169 (£10) modem is 5.4Mbps whereas the others are all 3.6Mbps, but the connection 3 provide is only 3.6Mbps. I spoke to one of their assistants on live support, and they say there are small areas of the country which can get 5.4Mbps but no commitment is made to them providing this since its only sold as 3.6Mbps.

They're introducing this as they roll out faster speeds across the country, and they'll start selling it as such when they're further down the line. You'll need the E169 (or future alternatives) if you want to take advantage of this (but then, you may not be able to at present).

Hope that makes sense? :)

Hi all, will this work with Ubuntu 8.04 Linux ? if yes which is the best Modem to get, also a straight forward installation / setup guide - link, would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

It does! Many Thanks mate

Not too sure. I bought an Acer Aspire One (Linpus Lite Linux) and Huawei USB modems are about the only ones that work with it, but they're a pain in the backside to set up.

If you go for the D100 wireless router, the USB modem plugs into this instead, and you simply connect wirelessly. That's what I opted for, to save the hassle of getting it setup with Linux (and it means I can connect my DS etc etc...)

Spoke to 3 CS this morning (must have typed my card details in wrong!), and they completed the order. Everything's coming on Tuesday, at all the promotional prices!

I was going to get the O2 MB through Quidco, which gives £120 cashback. But that's only 3Gb, so this much batter deal.

Hello. Does anybody have a link for the half price 15gb mobile broadband? Thanks!
#34
this is a good deal.

Ive been with three for 2 years and this is the cheapest ive seen it.

It can be a bit tempermental though , my girlfriend has the mobile broadband and its never consistant in how it works or the speeds you get.

I couldn't find this anywhere, but would have liked it. Who knows, once subscribed to the 5Gb at half price, they might let you upgrade to the 15Gb at half price once in contract. I might monitor my usage and try that if I need to.

Unfortunately not. I've tried a few times since, to replicate everything I did, but to no avail. It must have been a glitch.

Just found the 15GB for £15 - http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsummary.aspx?offercode=18M15ED006
