  i was offered 900mins, 5000 txts, 5000 3to3 mins, and 2.5gb internet, a couple of months ago, a retention deal to keep you on their network, for £13 a month,
  these are only available as retention deals and you can never get the same offer again, you are lucky to get the offer at all,

  I have been offered 900 minutes or text, 5000 3 to 3 minutes, 3 GB of internet on 12 month contract (Sim Only) and is going to expire in Feb 2012.
  Was you sim only deal or it came with phone?

  On your next renewal, take the 5000 text out of equation (if you dont use that much) and bring it down to tenner.

  Was this the first time you were offered? cos once you get to the end of your contract, you are normally offered a deal, however, if you call in to give your 30 day notice of leaving, its ONLY then you get another call and this time from the retention team. If this IS the first offer and you have not given in a 30 day notice, you should do that and they will give you another call with a much better deal.
  
  I recently got 500mins, 2000 texts, unlimited 3to3 and 2GB data all with a brand new HTC Desire for £9 per month. Even then, I had a long battle to reduce the price to £8 which resulted in them giving me an extra 8GB micro sd. lol.
  
  This deal however is quite cold, you can do better, trust me!

  I just thought about it and to be honest it was not recent, I actually got that deal last January. Considering my previous deal was a Nokia N97, 500 mix`n match, 1GB for around £25 per month, its not always sunny.. "Unbelievable" you say, I have that effect on many.. :)

  Nay sayers and those freezing this deal - would you bother giving a better deal than this - for the benefit of all? I would atleast like to see how much of a poor deal I have landed.
  
  The examples I am reading are not current - to be honest I trawled HUKD to find a good deal for renewal and could not find anything current better than what I have managed!

  Good info thx. am currently out of contract and have been finding it tough to choose a new phone. i think i'd go with a great deal before blowing out my cash on the latest phone.
