in your area maybe, they have the best 3G coverage in UK, pity it's 30 day expiration on credits :(

Terrible terrible service, but if you need to replace a broken dongle, then this is a deal as they're £20 from 3.

3 coverage is the best of a bad bunch. I've got 3 and, apart from in Stratford, I've never had a problem getting a signal.

you can buy prepaid for either 3 or 12 months (3gb or 12gb) whichever expires first.

I just ended an 18mth MBB contract with 3 - what a PITA on a queue over 40 mins and then a long discussion to retain me, then I rang 3 sales just to see how long it took and got through after one ring which I thought might happen , the coverage has got a lot better overall but still not everywhere I tried to access it from and that was in the Home Counties

The Unlock code is individual for huawei modems, and depends from IMEI :whistling::whistling:

xorti, can this link unlock Vodafone K3565 it is made by Huawei? I would like to unlock it so it can use O2 and 3's settings as well so I guess other than unlocking, I'll have to change the firmware as well?

This is a link to a guide and a firmware update that restores the modem to the manufacturers default software - It is a little fiddley and requires the user to enter network specfic data into software client , but on the whole is pretty good - all docs and client are placed into readonly ram area to avoid future messups

Would be keen for any links to other firmwares for other modems - I got my modem for £4.97 (incl) in April

The three network is average but not spectacular - ignore the screaming generalisers.

The 3 network isn't 'average' - according to a recent Ofcom survey it has the widest coverage of any mobile broadband supplier (O2 having the worst). Admittedly, that doesn't help if you happen to be outside the coverage region, but you've got a better chance picking up a signal with 3 than any of the others.
