Three Mobile UK has introduced two new sim only deals this week.

Both deals are on 30 day no ties contracts.

With SIM £10 you get:

Unlimited texts
100 minutes
Unlimited 3-to-3 minutes
Free voicemail
Free Skype-to-Skype calls

You get an extra 200 mins with Sim £15 (300 mins).

These new deals are great if you have a few friends on three, as you get unlimited calls to them, along with unlimited texts, and the new free skype calls (with no data charges at all!) it makes it a great deal.

At the moment the sim only deal cannot be ordered online, call 08003582811 or pop into your nearest three store.

The previous sim only contract which these new deals have replaced were much less value for money, giving just 100 mins and texts for £9. If anyone is on this deal its worth a call to 333 to switch to the new tarriff.

Hope this helps.

I think it will be better to take one of the six month contracts with a free phone and 300 min for £15-00. At the end of the day it is only gonna cost you £90-00.

That's a red-hot deal. Unlimited texts is the way to go for kids and my kids have cost me a fortune with their ceaseless texting.

Excellent, the new £15 sim-only tariff is perfect for me!

I'm currently on £15p/m mix&match 300, went out of commitment last month.

The weird thing is I rang up 3 today to advise I am more than happy with my current phone and could they give me any more texts or mins on a sim-only basis, but all he could offer me was 100mins at £9pm? Sounds like he did not even know about these new sim-only deals.

Heat added.

Strange, I'm on 500 mins and 100 texts per month for about £9.70. Don't know what makes them decide just what they will offer you if you are about to leave them.

Yep the new deals have only just launched, I think it only went live on friday so many of the advisers dont know about the plans yet.

Just a quick mention - they may offer you the internet add on for £2.50 (half price) if you haggle a bit, but they will only offer this on the £15 plan, not the £10.

I have just had a call from 3 and they have offered me this deal which I snapped up.
I did have the 500mixmatch deal for £25 but was not using my allowance. Now I have 100 mins and unlimited texts for £10.
Although the lady said it would be £9.79 with the new tax reduction.
#17
3 Skype phone is quite affordable

how do the tesco deals compare to this? http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/homepage.aspx?page=3

Unlimited texts
Unlimited 3-to-3 minutes

Whats 3's definition of unlimited? do they have a fair usage policy?
#20
What's the network coverage like these days?

Excellent for 2G (phone calls), variable for 3G (fast internet).

They consider 'fair usage' around 4000 text a month IIRC.
#23
anyone know about the unlimited calls from 3 to 3? really unlimited?
#24
Good deal voted hot. I am keeping my three contract ticking over at £9 a month for 100 mix and match with no ties. Will give them a ring and make sure I am getting this deal!
#25
I have a three contact with unlimted stuff, this is what my bill tells me.

Texts = 4000 texts (pro rata, so Feb you get less texts)
3-to-3 = 2000 mins
Internet = 1gb
Skype = Totally free to other Skype

Hope that helps

3's network isn't brilliant, infact it's probably the worst of the main providers.

I was told that the coverage in my area was perfect based on 3's postcode checker yet I'm lucky with half a single bar at times.

My advice is to stay away from lengthy contract offers - they're cheap for a reason...

Depends where you are located. Three is THE best provider for me in South Wales. Even has signal in North Wales where all other signals fail. When the Three signal goes it uses O2s therefore massive coverage.

That's actually incorrect. 3 used Orange up until about 6 months ago when they dropped them to save money. Now they use their own network exclusively.

Prove me wrong if you can, but I'm 99.9% sure I'm right (spoke to an ex 3 manager who now works at carphone warehouse just yesterday).

Edit: Actually, you're half right - 3 DID use o2 at some stage, but stopped by Jan 07.
#29
I have 3 and agree network coverage not great at times. Also big issue with receiving long text messages from O2 network users -tend only to get the last bit then couple of days later get the start of the text ..... I signed into 18 month contract and this has really bugged me!!!

???????????????????????
By the way anyone know if I can buy add on minutes ...... can only find add on texts and have used all my mins this month ..... or does anyone know the cost of mins once contract 75mins used up ?? Ta

i would like to take this deal but need a phone, can anyone recommend the cheapest phone to go with it?
#31
Deal does seem good, but like others are saying really make sure you have good reception with 3 before taking out a contract with them. But what ever you do dont trust the coverage app on their website, its totaly incorrect. It says i have perfect 3g reception in my area, however im lucky to have 1 bar at most times, then i later find out im in a blackspot, which was not pointed out at all when i took out the contract. 3 have some way to go before i consider using them again.

How did you find out you were in a blackspot? I could do with an accurate picture of coverage in my area - it is FAR from perfect.
#33
It looks like a good deal BUT if only could work! I`m always having reception problem even tho I`m in excellent area coverage! ( yeah right!)

Friends says my phone is off. I never! turn my phone off. So think again before you take this offer.

Not bad but people do forget that you pay for what you get. Three is a good example. Pretty poor customer service, poor coverage.. :whistling:

all networks.

I suppose those who are not sure about coverage, this being a 30 day contract, surely its worth getting it just for one month to see.
