This is for the Three essential plan unlimited calls and text with 30GB data for existing Three customers whos contract is about to end/upgrade. This will be a 12 month contract on the essential plan which means that their is no 'feel at home' or 'hotspot' with your allowance.

Follow the following instructions:
- Call three and say you want a plan with around 20+GB data
- Speak for a while and explain other companies are offering for £15 e.g. Virgin
- They will offer you the deal for £20, do not accept and say you want your PAC Code as you want to keep your number when you move
- They will need to transfer you to 'retentions' for this and Voila! They will offer you the deal for £15 without a struggle

There you have it, hopes this helps some of you! You may be able to ask for it cheaper, I was quite surprised how quickly he offered me the deal without me needing to say anything.

I got 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited data yesterday for £14.00 per month from them after they kept saying they couldn't do anything less than £20 per month

Been trying to get unlimted data from themselves with no luck.

Been offered this deal but it's only an essential plan which doesn't include hotspot or roaming. Really needed the advanced plan. Cheapest I could get was £22 for unlimited data, texts but only 200 mins.

What plan has everyone been offered by Three and what did you go for at the end. Just wondering cos my contract with Three is due to to finish in just over a month's time.

Thanks

They're pretty hard to break down.

My friend was offered unlimited everything on the advanced plan, which is what I want, for £19 a month. When I called up to cancel my contract they said there was no deals that could be offered on the advanced plan as it's all customer specific. One will be offered something that the other won't be able to get.

The deal that is posted here is the deal that will be offered if you follow his steps but you may be a lucky customer and get an advanced plan that has unlimited data at a good price. Sadly I was not and was only offered their standard price advanced plan.

Good luck anyway.

I just quit instead after wasting time trying to get a better deal. Not worth the hassle at all.

Yeah I guess it really does depend on who you talk to as well. In the past, there's been a retention deal UL mins/texts 4GB data that quite a lot of people managed to get so I reckon it's pot luck.

But yeah thanks for the reply. I'll let you know what package I get offered and end up taking aha.

Op. The plural of text is texts. Not text.

I'm currently on unlimited data, unlimited texts and 200 min for £15, but they're written to tell me my deal is ending (contract actually ended over a year ago).

Three told me I never use more than 10GB and 100min, knowing this they will ony offer me more expensive cotnracts with 30GB data and 600 or unlimited minutes for £18 or £19.

So I said, give me a PAC then. And guess what...? They gave me a PAC! That's my bluff called.
Oh well, just ordered a Google Pixel from Vodafone/Mobiles.co.uk for £32/month - that's only £14/month (£336 over 2 years) more than I'd pay for the best deal Three would give me. I can sell the phone for more than that if I don't like it.

I had the same £15pm contract and had to choose a new tariff too. I went for the £19pm unlimited everything, seemed like a decent deal and I think being able to use your mobile abroad is a big selling point for staying with Three.

Same thing happened to me. Was on the same tariff and received the letter, and was only offered more expensive contracts. Expected them to offer me something better when I requested my PAC code, but nope! Fortunately the £15 Virgin deal (20GB, 5000 mins and unlimited texts) was available at the time.

I have got this plan too. They can't offer you that deal you need to speak to cancelations team. Where you transfer your number from. That's the "last point"
