Three have emailed in to let you all know that they'll be ending their £20 per month promotion on the "Mix & Match 1100" tariff at 12:00 noon, on Friday 13th June 2008.

This tariff, which is normally priced at £27 per month, offers either 1100 anytime, any network UK voice minutes OR 1100 UK text messages OR any mix of the two. You also get free voicemail access and 300 free minutes which may be used for calling other 3 handsets. You will also receive free access to a number of internet services, including MSN messenger, Skype, Yahoo! and eBay.

The deal is available on the Nokia 6120, Nokia 6500, 3 Skypephone and the following Sony Ericsson handsets: K530i, K610i, K660i, W660i, Z610i, Z750i. It's also available on other high-end handsets, but these are not free (you're charged an extra monthly charge for the duration of your contract).

At the time of posting there's just over 24 hours left on this deal. Enjoy. =D

Yeah, pure typo. That's what you get when you're flicking between HUKD and spreadsheets.

Heh, that's a vague comment... care to expand? I think they've had a fair bit of success with these deals. It's not a bad price at all.

Heh, that's not what the email from 3 to the affiliates says... and there's also a countdown banner at the top of the threestore page, which you'll see if you click on "Go to Deal", which at the time of typing reads 1 day, 6 minutes and 4 seconds.

We'll see, eh? :)

There'll always be a clause that say "we reserve the right to end this offer at any time".

Yup, the deal IS ending tomorrow, at least on the phones listed here.

Good price, but I hate three... Ever since they prevented me claiming a cashback offer by refusing to send me a final bill... I now prefer to pay a bit more and be safe in the knowledge I will get a decent level of customer service, like with O2 for example.

Fair comment. :) I personally didn't have any trouble with 3 customer service. The main problem is that there's a certain level of "language barrier" when you contact customer service. A lot of companies have outsourced, but it seems particularly bad with Three.

However, in their defence, the people you ring are fairly patient... even if you do get a little bit frustrated.

Hi i am on 3 on this tariff and with the 1min billing i get to use up my 1100 Min's in about 2 weeks with 3/9 second phone calls network round here is real bad

so i get cut off and have to ring back and it counts as a min or 1 of my 1100 this can get a bit annoying after a few weeks

so now i am getting out of this and going to a network that can give me the calls i need when i need them and not have to use the phone
when its working

to me they could give me 22000 Min's for £20 but if they don't give me a call with out getting cut off or using my network Min's for nothing
and try and get help from there CS :(

so before you go on three look or at least ask about see if there network is any good by you if it is its a great deal if its not like me then well its not worth a lot :(

just think

THREE is not always the Magic number

Glad i'm not the only one who didn't appreciate the 3 service.

Me too - can't stand 'em. Got my PAC and I'm on my way...

Which is the best Free mobile on offer here?
#14
dont even get me started on 3 customer service, told them i was cancelling to which i have had 7 yes 7 unsolicited phone calls with numerous "special offers" to tempt me back, Then they sent me a bill for £96 that was paid over 6 months ago and are now going to take legal action against me for a bill i have bank statements to prove i paid.
Absolute bunch of monkeys and will never ever use them again
#15
Only seven? They really mustn't have liked talking to you!

Must have had at least a dozen over the month before I was due to leave. Even then couldn't get my PAC code sorted. Aaaagh!

What do you mean?

If you mean "Which is the best mobile available on this tariff??" then it's difficult to answer. I'd go for one of the top Sony Ericsson models because I believe that they make the best phones, although the Nokia 6500 is quite a good phone and the Skypephone would allow free calls to skype users and significantly cheaper calls to others... take your pick!!

Or do you mean "Which is the best offer on HUKD??" If it's the latter, then >>this<< is still the best deal I've seen in months.

Those of you who aren't happy with a three contract but still need a contract with a high minutes/texts allowance then the Mobiles2YourDoor offer might be appropriate. It's cashback, but the cashback is automatic and piad to you in one lump sum just one month into your contract.

The plan, Dolphin 35 (normally charged at £35 per month) gives you 600 any time any network minutes and unlimited texts (technically 3,000 due to fair usage policy). After cashback, it works out at just £17.50 per month, and an extra £55 is available via QuidCo. Take a look here.

The down-sides are that it's an 18 month contract (although you can downgrade tariff after 9 months) and the phones on offer aren't quite as good as these. The plan is good, though... there's plenty of minutes and it's especially good if you use a lot of texts.

Hope that helps.

I got this for my nana a few days ago...If you quote "The TV Mag" dated 14th June - 21st they will give you it at £20 a month as it the advertisement says offer ends 30th June.

If you take the skypephone can you cancel the contract after 6 months as well?
