In my opinion, this is better than the t-mobile deal for 40p extra you get more: 2500txts and 500mb internet.

If link does not work just go to: http://www.three.co.uk/Pay_Monthly/SIM_Only/Choose_your_SIM and select SIM 600 12 month for more details

I'm guessing the cold votes are either because its Three (in which case they are unfounded, Three got loads better after their initial **** offering), or because its quidco which doesn't always track. Seems a good deal, but I can only use t-mobile.

Strange since this other three deal got well over 1000degrees : http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/three-sim-only-300-mins-3000-texts-1gb-web-10-5-45-after-cashback-three-mobile/931159

Its just the way this site is.
If two or three people vote cold so will the rest.

Agreed, but there is no accounting for sense on this board sometimes!
I gave you heat, but it got frozen back down by someone within seconds.

My experience with 3 is something i hope i never have to go through again. There is no customer service to speak of unless you want to buy something.
Cold from me

Funny thing, I've sworn the same about Orange.
#7
you are not supposed to include the quidco in the price.
otherthan that, i think its a hot deal.
#8
I moved alto this plan this month, good price even if you don't get the quick.

I like 3 their CS is poor but that makes it more fun, I now get this plan plus 3000 3 to 3 minutes plus extra 2gb data just for moaning (a lot) at their UK executive office.

when you have "free internet" can u use this in a dongle to get your laptop online?

I am thinking about taking out this contract but how reliable are quidco? Can I get the contract and then cancel it if the quidco doesn't track?

three p*** me off. They don't seem to be able to offer me anything that compares to offers like this even though I have been out of contract for a while. The best sim only deal I got offered by them today was the same offer Tesco do for the three sim only deal except Tesco also give you a £20 giftcard.

/rant

I would assume the mixed votes are due to the uncertainty of cashback paying out as that's what really makes this deal. Also as pointed out you should include the full price not the price after cashback.

No you can't, and you can't tether on this unless you get an extra internet bundle or buy the one plan.

Even though android offers wireless tethering as standard nowadays?

Well of course there ways around it such as jailbreaking an iPhone and using something like MyWi to tether but three's official stance is here:

Just weird that android comes with tethering software, and you can't tether!

It's an okay deal. I'm on a similar deal but with 300 mins vs 600, but I get 2gb internet + unlimited 3-3 calls which I use quite heavily. So all in all, their deals haven't improved much at all in the last year. Booo.

As for 3 improving, yes they have but compared to O2 they drop far too many calls. I drop 1-2 calls every week mid-conversation in around Coventry. That is not good. Coverage generally is poorer around the UK when I travel. The 3g speed is also slower than O2 (pretty much crawls in the evenings) and here I thought Three's 3g service was their main selling point.

All in all they are perfectly acceptable but I'd jump back to O2 if they'd match my tarrif.

I can tether just fine from my Android device...?

Thank you for taking the time to participate on the forums. The quoted deal price has been amended as the listed deal price should be the price you have to actual pay the retailer to purchase the item before any retrospective discounts/cashbacks are applied, thanks again.

Try visiting the link in the OP (opening post) and selecting "plan details". Sure I could do it for you but it's better for everyone if you learn to do some of the leg work yourself!

Here is a clue though :)

You took the time to snapshot, edit and host an image. Then post a patronising remark, taking time to point out what OP means to someone that has been a member here twice as long as you, instead of just saying Three to Three UK (Flat rate) 30p per minute.

The site is also about members helping members, you could just as easily posted the rate, and your image telling Flimber that other details could be found there.

Your perceived view of what "members helping members" involves is clearly skewed. As I helped further than just giving the answer. I provided the tools to figure it out for themselves and in the future. It's better for everyone than promoting a lazy culture where nobody wants to do even the most menial of tasks such as clicking on a rather clearly named link. It's suckers like you that perpetuate the problem and promote lazy culture over learning.

Anyone know a better deal which works out under £10 a month?

Under experied on quidco this deal comes up. So I think we're done now? :P

could be wrong, but i thought OP actually stood for Original Poster - meaning the first person to post the deal. rather than opening post.... :p

It's just an acronym so it means many things depending on the context and where. But both are correct. More here:

For £10 the minutes is less but the text and the internet is better and you don't have to top up every month!!!

Still showing as current for me on the Quidco site. Can someone else confirm please. Thanks

I signed up for this the other day - I'd been on O2 for a year, same mins/texts/internet, but had been paying £20. Would have been less but quidco didn't track (that's the first time it has ever happened to me though).
O2 not helpful at retentions and didn't even try to get close to it, so in the past few months they've lost me as a broadband and as a mobile customer...
