My contract is being phased out, and they have offered me two alternatives to switch. Still undecided, but will probably not take them and move to another company to get more data than this for the same money

Alternative 1: 4GB Data / All-you-can-eat Texts / All-you-can-eat Minutes

12 Month contract -> Discounted to: £11 per month

Alternative 2: 8GB Data / All-you-can-eat Texts / All-you-can-eat Minutes

12 Month contract -> Discounted to: £13 per month

Both options include Feel at Home (i.e. Roaming in specific countries)

Hopefully someone can use these to negotiate better terms on their contracts.

Thanks. Do they include "at home"?

What contract were you on? I think i barely slipped through the last round of forced plan changes, so I wonder if i'm done for this time!
#3
What contact are you on that is being phased out?
#4
Did those options include Feel at Home? I would be very interested to know what 3 would offer as retention incentive for All-you-can-eat on-handset Data / All-you-can-eat Texts / All-you-can-eat Minutes. Thanks.

Wow never looked at Virgin !! they do some great deals roll over for data also. I rang only 2 days ago and got some right pompous Indian guys saying there is no one who come close to there deals thats why they won't offer me anything other then their available to everyone deals on their website. They really are getting too big for their boots and they need some competition .
I have 3 contracts with them and they NEVER have EVER offered me anything discounted when i threaten to leave

I get this with 4gb and feel at home for £9. I use very few minutes though.
I think most of these deals will be based on your previous usage. They make it look good because they know you're unlikely to use it.

My contract with 3 will end in two weeks. I got my pac code and the best they could offer me was the £13 deal here (for 8gb). I have with them for over 15 years and some times I had two contracts with them at the same time. I am moving definitely. My options are Virgin or possibly talkmobile (5000 min and txt and 12 gb data including tethering) for £12 + some cashback (I know it is 3G but not fussed as it is used by my wife and it is not a big deal for her)

I expect to be negotiating with 3 soon. Is the £18 deal you mention a 30day rolling arrangement or 12m contract? Thanks.
