Which Gamestation was this from?

That is an amazing price.
#3
Probably store specific, what was the product number on your receipt ?
#4
Gamestation Lewisham.

Am at work, so don't have the receipt, but noted it was scanned in to the till and scanned at that price, so assumed it was a nationwide deal rather than a store specific pricing error.

Was one of those things sitting in the window, didn't even realise it was new and sealed until I bought it.

What was the price it was marked up as mate?

Because if it scans at £3.98, what was the price it was marked up as on the shop floor?
#6
my local store in newcastle have none. Another store in the metrocentre say it scans as £34.99.

so it looks as if this deal is store specific.

Good find for others who can get it at this price!!!

It was priced with a sale sticker at 3.98. The guy scanned it in to the til from the barcode on the box and the till recognised it at £3.98. Looks like it might be store specific, but worth a look if you have a local GameStation.

Will see what I can get from the til receipt tonight.

What are Gamestation like if you ring them up? Will they go and have a look for you and put it by if they have stock?

Yh if you ring up they will usually tell you what price it is and if they have stock. But they wont reserve it for you.

Both stores that I spoke to were helpful.

The metrocentre guy first checked stock levels on the till/computer and said £34.99. I asked him if it scanned up as £34.99. So he got one off the shelf scanned it (He also mentioned the box was slightly damaged.) and it came up as £34.99.

So you could try ringing up your local store to see what they say. There's no harm in trying. If they do have one ask for them to put it away or ask if you can pay by card over the phone. Then collect it later. :-)

once the staff realise its £3.98 how long do you think before its OOS? (certainly before you get there!) they will have cleared the shelves - or some brown-nose will have alerted head office and raised the price?
if you want this deal and dont want to mess it up for everyone else nationally, go to the store, if its there - great. if it isnt you haven't alerted the company to it and others can still benefit.

I agree, The second the staff see that price they will buy them for themselves or will contact Head office for Brownie points.

Hey who expired, is it for sure nowhere else but Lewisham? This deal could benefit people if it is in their local store. Already different people said it was a different price in their local store (£24.99 or £34.99).

Anyone know if this can be unexpired?

Thats one of the things I was afraid of. But in the past my local store have been really good and kept a game in the sale aside. Just for the day. |So it just depends on the person you speak to at that time!!
