Seems like a bargain at this price, may help some one. Blurb:

Safely transport and store your MacBook Pro with the simple yet stylish Thule Gauntlet 3.0 11” MacBook Sleeve.

Designed to perfectly fit an 11” MacBook Pro, the Gauntlet 3.0 features a rigid exterior with enhanced corner and edge protection, along with a padded interior to keep your hardware protected from bumps and scratches.

Your MacBook is kept securely in place with an elastic band, ensuring it won't fall out as you unzip the case. You can use your MacBook without even removing it from the case thanks to the clamshell design, which is ideal when travelling or working on the go.

Complete with a reflective logo, the Thule Gauntlet 3.0 11" MacBook Sleeve offers stylish protection.

none anywhere in the north western hemisphere

Just a quick FYI this is actually for the MacBook Air 11 inch but will also fit ok for the 12 inch MacBook with edges sticking out a bit. I've decided to give it a go for the 12 inch as I have a case on it anyway and I've got one of these cases for my old MacBook Pro and they are so solid!

Well not sure how far north you mean but there were plenty in Derby which I'm well aware is the midlands but to southerners is the north as it's north of Watford

Good price but it would be alot more useful with a shoulder strap. Sleeves really are a bit useless!

I have one of these and it's pretty good (paid the full price a while back). The only little issue i've got is that it does expose the corners of your mac so your mac could technically still get scraped. But if you find one for this price it's a no-brainer.

No stock near me, or I'd have been all over this.

Is this compatible with Wingbars?

There is one in Mansfield, if that helps anyone.

I guess they may be if you plan to use it as your sole means of transporting your laptop.

My wife generally uses her laptop around the house, so uses one just to keep it safe when not using it.

I use one so I can get away from using a standard laptop bag. It then doubles up as something to rest my laptop on (i.e. in a coffee shop where the table may not be clean).

For this type of use straps/handles are actually cumbersome. Ultimately its then no longer a sleeve but a slim bag, which are also available.
