A resonable price. Though purchasers should be warned that ITV have, in their infinite wisdom, cropped the picture to 16:9...

I just don't see the point of Blu-Ray for something like this - especially when the DVD's are available for less than 22 quid.

See the wires better in HD. But yeah, also don't see the point. But would be interested to see a bit of one.

Because they weren't shot in widescreen so you either have them in pilarbox or as has been done here cropped to 16:9. Neither of them suited to a format that is supposed to be about high quality.

There is a very good review on this BluRay HERE
Clearly the BR version is FAR superior to the DVD version
Very good price BTW

Looks great in HD, being shown on SyfyHD on Saturday & Sunday mornings 6/7am at the moment.

That's a review from a die hard Thunderbirds fan. He basically says the picture quality is better, and tries to find reasons as to why the cropping is a good thing.

It doesn't say that the Blu ray is far superior to the dvd at all, I personally wouldn't consider this an essential purchase. Is it really going to enhance my viewing of a 40+ year old puppet show? probably not, especialy when the full screen dvd is so much cheaper.

Regardless, it is the cheapest price for this and is hot.
