Blurb:
At the outset of this popular 1980s cartoon series, a planet (known as Thundera) in a far, far away universe is in trouble. Thundera's inhabitants are facing extinction due to the planet's structural instability and looming disintegration. While the planet's offspring (the Thundercats) are able to escape in one piece, their spacecraft is not so lucky. It's wrecked by evil mutants, and then it is up to Jaga, the group's eldest member, to risk his own life to ensure the safe arrival of the Thundercats in their new home--Third Earth. This release contains every episode from the first and second series.

So every episode ever of Thundercats for £17.99 - Bargain!

Don't disagree - has been down at this price a couple of times, but gone back up again. Just thought it worth a new thread to show that it is back down again! ;)

loool I'm sure if the movie is successful they'll probly make a spoof of it, as they do with every popular film these days.

No longer at this price at HMV or Base. Just tried to order. Oh well, that's saved me 18 quid, and another 24 discs to add to my 'to watch' pile. :-(

Loved this as a kid but recently i went through another 2 of my fave childhood cartoon series:
Mysterious Cities Of Gold & Ulysses 31. They weren't as good as I remembered. Put off buying any more of these old cartoons (for now anyway!)

New series looks amazing (going by the concept art so-far):

There are some great names behind the series, and the excellent Japanese animation studio 4°C – which did the fantastic looking Matrix anime The Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knights – will be handling the artwork for Thundercats. Executive Producer Sam Register (Teen Titans, Ben 10) will serve as EP on Thundercats and he is joined by Michael Jelenic (Wonder Woman, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender), who will serve as producers for the show.

I seem to remember fancying a female cat character in Thundercats when I was a "confused" teenager.
