Tiger Beer £3.00

Asda currently have an offer to promote the Chinese New Year.
Buy any three for £3.00.
The three items are Loyd Grossman Curry sauces, Rice and/or 640mls Tiger Beer. The offer clearly states ANY THREE. (NOT ONE OF EACH.)
The offer is only displayed at the jar of sauce stand, the drinks area do not display this offer, and will mean that you will need to visit customer service after purchase to get three Tiger Beers for £3.00. This is almost half price.
A bargain.
A Tiger Beer lover.

Hi and welcome to the forums mercury.:)
Good price for a premium beer.
If the offer clearly states any 3 for £3,why would you have to go to CS.Would it not be automatic at checkout.:?

Agreed. I'd forget the beer, get the curry sauces!

Online (for my local Asda at least? don't know if it's a national listing) they advertise Uncle Ben's Rice 3 for £3 when you search for tiger.. but the beer definitely isn't advertised or counted in the multibuy. A couple of Uncle Ben's sauces come up in the same "rice" multibuy, but no Loyd Grossman sauces either. :?

Just been to Asda.....saw the grossman sauces on offer £3 for any 3.But no sign saying the beer was included. No sign where the beer was on the shelves either,so didn't bother.....but picked up 2 large jars of asda chinese cooking sauce for £1,up a pile of the peanut butter chunky kitkats at 8 bars for a £1.....yumee.:) and they have a variety of fresh fruit medley things on rollback to £1.....some originally priced at £2.38.

Just remember if the beer is included and doesn't get discounted get your £2 gift card for your trouble:thumbsup:

Sometimes they make you ask for them these days

Just been to my local Asda and the Grossman sauces are definitely *not* on offer - scanned 3 through the till to check and came up normal price. :(

What's this about a gift card.Is it a way of apology for wrongly charged goods or something.I know at tesco i have been given my money back and the item(s) for free if they have made a mistake at the till.

Yeah - what is this - I've never been offered one of these and I've been mis-charged several times there.

Thats the one.

Any errors on receipt go to CS for refund then a £2 gift card that can be used off shopping next time. Sometimes if they don't give you it you have to ask cos they are getting greedy:thumbsup:

What happens if I am overcharged?
If you have been overcharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift card voucher for each product you have been mischarged for.

LOL! Asda are so amateur. This used to be worded 'If you have been overcharged OR UNDERCHARGED blah blah' They have now taken out the undercharged bit but left in the (if you have been overcharged) wording which makes it a nonsense statement!

BTW, IME Asda CS staff will try ANYTHING to put you off the scent of the £2 giftcard. I've had various excuses, the best one being I hadn't been out of the store before discovering the error so no card. That one resulted in a call to Head Office and a telling off for CS staff/store manager. My face must now be known because I have been overcharged twice since and been given the giftcard without uttering a word. Asda = terrible store IMHO.
