Start your journey down the “Road to the Masters” with Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12: The Masters. For the first time in franchise history, players will be able to step on to the hallowed grounds of Augusta National to experience the rich history and tradition of the Masters Tournament. Rely on the advice of your caddie to strategize and focus your game while feeling the intensity of the PGA TOUR season. Embark on the “Road to the Masters” as your career begins on the amateur tour and work your way through Q School, Nationwide Tour, and finally, the PGA TOUR. Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12: The Masters has something for every golf fan and is the must-have title this year!
There are certain things we take for granted whenever a new Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf game comes around: the best graphics that can be found in any golf game, a sumptuous and flexible control system and the chance to match our skills against those of the world’s finest golfers. But every iteration of the all-conquering golf-sim franchise brings something new, and in the case of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12, EA Sports is treating us to that most venerable and venerated of major championships, the Masters.
You simply can’t call yourself a true golf-nut if you have never dreamed of slipping on the fabled green jacket. And if you can’t contain your excitement at the prospect, you can jump straight onto the Augusta national course. But it’s far more satisfying to gain entry on merit – via the Road to the Masters, which is basically the Career mode. It starts you off on an amateur nine-hole event, and if you do well in that, you swiftly acquire your Tour card; from then on, how quickly you progress to pitting your skills against the fearsome Amen Corner depends entirely on how swiftly you are able to propel yourself into the world’s top 100.

#9

The move is much improved over last year's..
#12
Super hot deal, been looking for a cheaper price. Cheers

I play Tiger Woods 10. Does anyone have an opinion as to how it would compare to TW12. 10 is a hell of a lot better than 11 in my opinion. It's has a much better feel and better graphics. The putting is great also.
#14
The putting in 11 was massively annoying, kind of puts me off this, but I shall have a look at the demo I guess.

I normally rent games or buy them super-cheap but I bought this the day it came out for the full £40, just had to have it as I was excited about The Masters. Don't regret it at all, easily the best Tiger game in the series, very well done. You can tell they rushed it to get it out in time for The Masters as some of the 'walking away after a shot' animations are just stupid, players walking towards water etc but other than that it's really excellent. The golf plays really well, it's easy enough to be satisfying but just challenging enough to make you feel like you're playing well. Hot, recommend it heartily.

Great price, although lol at feeble DLC Exlusive
#17
Got the collectors edition of this its a good game but the move support is still terrible a bit better than 2011 but still so bad u end up just usin. The dualshock instead
#18
how realistic is this? i mean, do you get to drunkenly crash cars and date other peoples girlfriends?
#19
Game is a bit of a rip off though as half the courses are dlc and if u play the masters mode u have to skip the courses that u havent paid for and then u get penalised for skipping too many

That sounds ridiculous. I think this is the way games are going now. Its not enough that you have paid for the game but now you seem to have to pay for online access and DLC.
I will have to read the reviews before I decide to buy this and if you do have to pay to play it properly I am boycotting this on principal.
#21
It is i paid £37 for the collectors edition because it had extra courses but i still hav to skip out half the masters mode because i havent paid £19.99 for the eagle course pack
#22
heat added for price, but EA are trying to rip us off with putting the DLC courses in the main game so you have to pay again to get the complete game

Cheers. Was going to buy this but will give it a miss now. Hopefully they will rerelease this in 2 or 3 months with the DLC included!

Decent price but didnt like this years effort. No classic putting option, caddy is annoying although you can turn it off, poor animations and also a mass rip off of DLC. Not surprised its come down in price tbh.
To the other poster that was asking how this compared to TW10. I would say that TW10 is miles better than this. I still play 10 often myself.
#25
EA have ruined this game with all the DLC. Owned the older ones but wont buy the newer ones due to lack of effort and greed on their part.

Cheers Stevie i'll stick to 10. The only downside about 10 is that when i play online the vast majority of people use easy options. I'm a level one player who prefer challenging conditions and pro mode. I'm just going to stick to 10, there's plenty of people still playing it.

PGA Tour 08 still the best.

I called up ShopTo customer services (0800 779 7777) and they said that the code should have been automatically added to my account via an email. They sent it to me via email within a few minutes.

Hope that helps anyone else who has ordered it
