One of the most inventive, original and just purely enjoyable films ever made, Time Bandits is at now available on DVD in this outstanding 25th anniversary special edition. When young Kevin goes to bed one night little does he know that he's about to set off on an adventure that will change his life forever. Unluckily for him a time portal exists in his bedroom and through it arrives a whole load of trouble in the form of 6 fugitive dwarfs. They've stolen a map of all the holes in time from their employer, God, and they've set off through time robbing anyone they meet. Kevin gets dragged along with them on their crime-spree, but Gods not their only problem as Evil himself is also determined to get his hands on that troublesome map.

Brilliant film but been around £5 for ages
Great Film!

This was the first ever video i watched on our very first DVD Player.
Love this film, I remember my Dad taking me to the cinema around 1981 to see this when it first came out! Then I was scared stiff at night thinking things were going to burst out of my wardrobe :-D

I love the (Robin Hood Scene) when John Cleese (Robin Hood) is giving the loot to the poor, He hands the stuff over. And the guy next to him punches them.
