  Standalone Digital Subscriptions Terms. These terms apply to website subscriptions only: Subscription is £1 for the first 30 days and £2 per week thereafter, billed at £8.66 per month. Subscription will automatically renew every month until cancelled. Minimum age 18. Subscription includes access to http://www.thetimes.co.uk and http://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk, plus complimentary access to The Times and The Sunday Times iPad edition.

  Am I missing sometihng? The subs link doesn't show £1 for 30 days. hot if the case but not entirely bothered. I used to subscribe for the iPad edition but a combination of the Murdoch fiasco as well as just preferring paper editions (sorry trees) turned me off. A decent read though.

  Hmmm, used to buy The Times once a week when it was 10p on Mondays (mainly 'cos I reckon it cost more than 10p to print and distribute). Can't see Murdoch losing money on this but my £1 won't make him noticeably richer either. If I read The Times daily for a month will it make me want to vote for DC?
