fireydragon6666 Yes most watches update the calendar, however I've got a hunch that this means that you don't have to fiddle around changing the date when there are only 28, 29 or 30 days in a month. Unlike all digital watches which know what year / month you are in and so always get the date right on the 1st of the next month - hope you get my point, does this make any sense?

Good job it's got a backlight then.

Lying in your coffin you will still see the time.

Good idea.

I that case, I shall bequeath mine to my parrot. :w00t:

What i Don't understand, is that it doesn't tell you the month on the watch, so how does it know how when to skip out the days in the 30 day months and also in February?

Hmm, how do you tell the watch what month or year it is (unless its factory preset) in which case it wont adjust when a new battery is put in .....

Good find, i never get on with leather straps...only last me a couple of months when i'm wearing the watch 23 1/2 hours a day.
#22
Crikey guys its a timex for 9.99 who cares if you have to change the date every now and again:thumbsup:
#23

I'm sure at the bottom of the face it says 50m not 30m...as I expect this is the same spec as the Argos watch
#24
great watch for a tenner - collected one earlier - mucho impressed for the price! :-)

looks better in real life than in the photos!
#25
This is a great first watch for a child who is learning the time. For me fantastic work watch for a £10. Think its great and a back light. 7 year battery guarantee what more do you want for a tenner. Big bold clear watch with day and month display. If youve got a tenner spare go and treat yourself or someone whos always late. Great find great value and it looks great.

#29
has anyone else got problems with the "day" - mine seems to be stuck between wed/tues and hasnt moved all day.
#30
Bought mine today...quite chunky so not for those that like slim watches...but at a tenner it's fit for purpose...Argos told me it is going back up to £40 on Monday.
#31
got one today from argos, well what can i say for 9.99 you cannot go wrong and with a battery life for seven years plus a free replacement battery after seven years.
#32

#33
