£13.39 @ Amazon
Was looking for a complete LED strip kit for the home and came across these. They are 5050 LEDs so they are more brighter and better. Looks like a good kit to me and have ordered it

I dont think you would be able to in this configuration as the controller is all ir driven. If you just got a white set with an ac/dc adaptor you would just wire the ac/dc to the switch (or a socket maybe).

Is this just a flexible strip of led lights that have a remote control to change the colours etc??

Not a huge difference but you cant use yours outside

Much cheaper on ebay and they may be brighter but they cannot be "more brighter". Also your assertion that they are "more brighter and better" is pointless. They are brighter and better than what?

Brighter and better than the 3528RGB LEDs.

The reel of lights plugs into the white box which is the infer-red controller is in a fairly simple four pin connector. The power supply then plugs into the this box as well. It's literally that simple. You then turn on and change the colour etc with the controller.

You can cut the led strip down to size I think at every 30 cm (might be less?- maybe 10cm). And buy additional connectors for a few pounds online. And splitters etc. It's very straightforward. When I bought mine I couldn't find any useful info on the Internet so just bought them as I thought it was worth the chance at £15.

I have them stuck to the back of my wall mounted tv and they look ace!
