Not exactly "the cheapest ever" it was this price over a month ago!
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/319413/mini-bluetooth-v2-class-1-dongle-no/

Edit. It`s actually gone up in price, was only £1.90 http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/311312/mini-bluetooth-v2-class-1-dongle-1-/

Bargain.

I've had one like this for a while on the laptop. Isn't supported by the IVT BlueSoleil stack (the best one IMHO) though, which is a pain.

I have one of these - and would recommend it - but hadly "cheapest EVER" - the $ price may be the lowest but it'll cost you more than a few months back..
#10
Are these things easy to work? I usually just plug my usb lead into pc and link it to phone.

Whats the benefits like?

Cant argue for the price your paying, was just curious how useful they are.
#11
Would this work with A2DP? The one I have now claims it does but I've never managed to pair it with bluetooth headphones (you don't need special drivers for the headphones do you?).
#12
This is a great device. I bought one of these a few months ago and it's been perfect.

yep it does mate, i use it with my s9 headpones at work :-D
(but so does my cheapo one from tesco):?
both work without extra drivers but search for toshiba bluetooth stack, i find it better than windows standard
#14
U've wrote cheapest ever price but it was £1.90 last time it was posted. http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/311312/mini-bluetooth-v2-class-1-dongle-1-/
same items get posted every month without fail at same price so I wouldn't class this as a good deal. Great little bit of kit though.

Thanks. Whenever I've tried it before Windows keeps trying to install drivers for it! I'll try it with the toshiba stack.

EDIT: Does it work on non-toshiba laptops? It's saying something about expiring on other brands?

download the latest version of BlueSoleil and that will get you paired up. I use it to pair up my laptop to my samsung home cinema system when listening to music.

I bought one of these last time around but when I use it to send songs to my phone, say for instance I highlight 10 songs and click on send via Bluetooth, they will send but the process stops after each song until you press the "Next" button on the computer to send the next song which is a real pain on the bum.

Is there any way around this to get them all to follow on after each other without me having to press another button?

You will find it useful when/if you lose your USB lead

Hi,
Run a search on ebay for bluetooth usb and then sort for lowest P&P......you could actually get a few pence back from Quidco too .....

I have this myself, exact same model from DealExtreme. Works without any fiddling around what-so-ever in Ubuntu. Completely seamless. Works without drivers on my brother's XP Pro SP3 laptop too, as well as my own Vista laptop.

Bargain.

Comes to £1.92 - hot!

This would be a good deal for me, only I never will use Paypal again after they 'dissapeared' my money and then set a debt collection agency after me for an unpaid bill. Customer service is a dirty word to paypal/ebay.

You have been warned!

agreed paypal arent the best but that not deal extremes fault, had good / bad reports about DE's customer service but i complained about some rechargable batteries and within 2 weeks (normal DE postage) id got new ones, no returns , no questions
