I dont know why this has been voted cold - it is HOT as far as im concerned -

Think it's being voted cold because it's Virgin Media rather than the deal itself.
I'm stuck with them for now and would never recommend them to anyone even with a £100 saving.

didnt vote cold, just didnt vote at all.

I voted hot since I get great service from Virgin Media. Better than those shysters at Sky + BT.

This sweetener makes a good deal a great one!

A couple of these keep getting deleted. Not sure why? Maybe cus its not a deal with Virgin Media but a deal with Quidco.

Mine didn't track btw so I had to raise a ticket. Plus my installation has been put back a week, should be this saturday now. I know they have thier problems Virgin so no need to tell me the trouble I'm about to go into but as for Quidco not tracking - its very annoying as the day after they raised the amount to £100, I did it as its what clinched the deal for me.

Because it's cashback only. ie the deal is only a deal because of the quidco. There is a thread in misc for these things.

Virgin customer service not good and new policy with the 3 strike p2p sharing lol.

If you sign up for the 10 Mb service, I understand that you get a 'free' wireless modem as part of the deal.

You can the phone up Virgin after a month and downgrade to 2Mb service.

28 day cancellation policy applies.

Anyone tried this (I'm looking at moving from TalkTalk).

Got any details on this as I would not like to break the rules. ;-)

Just use file encryption or Ghost I.P. most P2P software is set up to handle this anyway.

They won't disconnect you for p2p... But if they did you could keep signing up to get the free stuff and then have them disconnect you - there is enough ISPs to go around for a good few years at least.

Anyway, they sent me a Wireless ROUTER and I phoned up about the modem and they said the install creq would have one with them when they did it. I read the T&Cs for the 28 day cancellation and it says that on return of equipment in their original box etc. So they'd probably ask for it back but they shouldn't leave you out of pocket to send it back. Anyway, I doubt they would pick it up tbh so you could end up with a free wireless router but they might use it as an excuse to not honour the 28 day thing if you don't keep box etc.

Apologies if this is a dumb question, will the £100 quidco track if I order broadband (L/XL package) only, ie with no landline?

Thanks
Pete
