Exclusive to Tiso, the Granite is made by Armond, who are a family owned company who have been making boots in Italy since 1967 and have a reputation for quality and attention to detail. The Granite is a simple lighweight boot which includes a Vibram outsole, making it great value for money.

* Weight : 1.47Kg
* Uppers : 2.6-2.8mm Anfibio leather
* Sole Unit : Vibram®
* Crampon Compatible : No

One piece leather upper with gusseted tongue

These boots are on Sale at present for £20 + Delivery (Supposedly down from £90). The same boots in Womens are £50 in the same sale. I suspect this is down to the very limited boot size!

Best price I can find elsewhere online is £80 on Livefortheoutdoors.com

I just ordered a pair in EU Size 47 which is UK Size 11.5/12. They have stock in Sizes 47 to 49 so looks like Sizes 11.5 -> 12.5/13

At £20 for a pair of leather walking boots you really can't go wrong so if your a bigfoot like me, get in there!

"A lightweight 3-season boot weighing 1608g (pair, size 11). Leather upper and waterproof lining. Available in mens up to size 50. Soft padded ankle cuff but solid toe box ideal for rocky ground. Very supportive heel cup; extremely aggressive Vibram sole; excellent stiffness for rocky ground; great price. However, minimal cushioning underfoot makes this a firm ride on hard or rocky ground, so best restricted to moorland, grass and mud.

Verdict: A lack of cushioning lets down an otherwise good boot, so best kept to hills and moors. "

I curse people finding these deals sometimes.

Don't do a lot of walking/hiking but having big feet causes me to not be able to resist a bargain pair of 13s

ANOTHER £25 I didn't think I'd spend.

THX By the way

Tell me about it, I wonder how much money I'd save if I didn't browse the forums. Or alternatively how much more I'd spend not seeing all the bargains.

Is rare to get some large sized boots though, it ain't easy being tall/big footed!

The Footwear you will find on these pages is made by a reliable artisan company founded in 1967 by Armando Mazzarolo, the father of the current owners. Our long lasting shoes are a result of combining new technology with knowledge and experience learned from our father.
The name "Armond" comes from the first name of the founder, Armando, who learned how to make quality shoes in an important shoe factory in Montebelluna.

Armond is one of those Italian boot companies that have sprouted up everywhere in the past 20 or 30 years. They don't have much presence in the U.S., but have done pretty well in Europe and Australia. They certainly make a line of footwear that at least from a specification standpoint matches up well with Scarpa, La Sportiva, or any other well-known Italian bootmaker.

Must say, for £50 these were very tempting.

They look really comfortable.

Well my dad was a Master Boot Maker and I grew up with the smell of leather so I dont think you could get better for the money and hopefully they will last me out.
48's have sold out now. Only 47 and 49 left.

Aye I saw the Trezeta boots but I've got a good pair of Fabric ones so the leather ones will do me :)
