you get a 2 year warranty and personally I would rather have this which is available than the home base one.

Thank you OP. I don't really need one of these but the price is too good to miss - so I suspect I'll own one by the end of the week!

Is this any good for cutting down trees?

Just got a £5 voucher off £25+ spend through the post. Don't 'need' one, but will come in handy.

Damn you HUKD

Anyone else's missing the hex key?

Made light work of a room's worth of fitted wardrobes earlier but bent the blade slightly.
Picked up the 14.99 Dewalt set from Screwfix earlier today on the way back from the tip, they said they'd swap the saw if it was genuinely missing the hex key but I certainly cannot find it.

Mine was attached to the cable near the handle.

Thanks, is it just a standard hex key (in which case it doesnt really matter that much)?

Yeah, just standard. Not sure what size. I used my own before I realised it was attached to the cable.

I bought one of these to chop up a well used 3 piece suite which I couldn't give away. 3rd floor flat with a balcony so just chopped into bags and through off the balcony and took to tip, easy and cheaper than paying for disposal. Funny thing is people were saying they'd take it if I got it outside, I bet they would.
