Someone made a post and I commented on it ... isnt that what you do on forums ?

As for you not reading it, I suggest if you want to make comments you take time to read the thread and draw your own conclusions whatever they may be I have drawn mine and may be right, may be wrong but you cannot tell unil you read it.

When you are referring to items somewhere else, specific quotes & specific links are what is needed. Even when you are asked to back up what you say with those sorts of links, you just continue on ignoring those requests with more vague comments.

I KNOW I can find what I want to know about just about ANYTHING on the Internet if I look long enough and hard enough... but it is a big place, if you expect people to do the looking for content you are relying on to back up what you say, and especially when it is unsubstantiated critical comments, then don't be surprised if no-one takes a blind bit of notice what you post, as now - I for one have better things to do.

Goodnight to that :-(
nihcaj;4080487
This isn't money saving expert, and the thread I am presuming you refer to is very long, and I for one haven't read it. To do so would take more time than is justified for an unsubstantiated claim.

How clear do I have to be?..
You are saying this person sells beds of certain brands, and then runs down any other brands. Where are the links to those events then?

It is a big claim to make about someone, so surely you can post a link where are they selling beds and similarly post links of where are they slagging other brands off.

You are complaining that the person does not link claims, then you make claims that YOU don't link either! :-(

So far, it sounds simply like someone having a go at someone else without any justification :-(

this in my opinion is the best matteress ever!!!!! it is soooooo comfortable, it dosent move when your o/h jumps into bed, its just truly amazing. i have loads of health problems and can have trouble sleeping - but since we got this, i sleep much better, so does my husband.

i really cant reccomend it highly enough, it is superb, even more so at this price!

cant go wrong!

I am having a ltttle difficulty undstanding your post, but just to expand on mine ...

I read many of the threads on mse relating to beds and mattresses and there is a person who sells beds on Ebay that gives a lot of useful information but he very rarely will recommend a mattress no matter what the make unless its available on an Ebay site or through an obscure online retailer.

He seems to have a particular aversion to Silentnight, Rest assired, Sealy etc wether they be traditional spring types, pocket sprung or foam and basically says they are rubbish but I have yet to read a post which substantiates this with any factual evidence other than he has heard this from 100's of his customers ?

I am not questioning either the impartiality of his advice, nor its substance but I personally prefer to see facts and I cannot find any. And to anyone who can prove that all these makes are rubbish I apologise profusely for doubting.

It was a pretty pathetic post, but that doesn't mean it was someone posting with a vested interest.

So, is that right? Just saying it doesn't mean it is true - Quite a claim to make, so why not show us what you mean?

My turn. I'm voting cold as the deal doesn't mention half price Corn Flakes or cans of Sprite in Sainsburys.

Seriously even if kegs were widely available and had a bright and healthy future I still wouldn't touch them due to their ridiculously extortionate price.

I mean you can get "premium" (please let's not start the premium beer argument again ;-)) beers like Stella on offer in cans for about £1 a litre whilst whilst the cheapest you'll ever get beer in a keg for is about £2 a litre - TWICE THE PRICE!!!

I've seen these kegs for sale in France and Germany and the price per litre works out pretty much similar to the cans.

So why are they SO expensive in this country then? Answer = RIP OFF BRITAIN!!!
I use a fridge
Minky5000;4010714
Makro sell 5lt kegs of warsteiner and something else similar for £7.00 a keg, my hubby says they're fine, and trust me he drinks enough of a variety and quantity to know! they are sometimes on offer for £5.00 so we load up the garage then!!!!

Does he use the kegs with this Beer cooler? If so they must be the same as the Heineiken. How long does it take to get the beer cool and how cold does it get it? I've bought the mini beer fridges before, the type with Budweiser, Stella or similar written on the glass door, and they don't work very well and the beers not cold - well the one I got didn't and went straight back to the shop! The temperature of the beer is very important you know

Edit: Ah, already answered! I wasted time typing when I could have been drinking my cold beer! :-D
ooops sorry we have the wunderbar one and that takes all kegs, this one says its limited to heineken kegs only.
So this one will take any make of keg?

They stainless or alu? Good price for all stainless, dont like alu makes food taste racid if left in pan even just for a few mins.
I was under the impression he was a cook and not a chef.

RRP of £120? I wouldn't buy them on principle just because of this crazy claim and I have a feeling Thomson will put his name on anything.

I went for these a few weeks back and have to say they are teh first pans I have had that 'feel' like a quality item:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/303812/macro-pierre-white-anodised-pan-set

I didn't get much heat then so I'll push them again....I didn't vote on this deal as I'm sure if you only have/want £30 to spend on a pan set this would be a reasonable choice. I'd go for the anodised set from Asda myself though.

I posted this last week and it got removed after about 5 minutes due to it already having been posted weeks ago. Grrr!!! (http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/296527/2-x-silentnight-memory-foam-traditi/).

Anyway, I subsequently bought a couple of these and I have to say they are absolutely dreadful! They are made of two flaps of foam (with very little "memory" quality about it) and stuffed with normal pillow filling in the middle. The result is an extremely high and firm pillow that does nothing of the moulding to your contours that memory foam is meant to do.
These are being sold cheap for a reason, and they're still a rip off!
these are back in stock online so grab em while you can!!
Picked up two yesterday and had a great nights sleep last night.

Great find!!

Just picked 4 up in Coventry.

We have a Vax carpet washer and to be fair that has been great, but so many bad reviews of Vac uprights, I was appauled with how bad ours was (turboforce v006)

Decided against an upright now own a Hoover Xarion Allergy Care that was on offer at Makro and really pleased with how much quieter, ergonomic and efficient it is compared to the Vax.

Same here, this is the baby brother of the turboforce we took down the local tip just last week, only had it two years and its pickup got worse and worse, changed the belt, tried an new hepa filter, unscrewed the whole assembly, checked for clogs....nothing, just a poor unit reflected by poor reviews in general.

Sorry Andy, this is a good price (although saying that its big brother the one we took to the tip is selling at places now for £59.99) however I have little faith in Vax's quality, reflected by poor reviews...they may be owned by Hoover, but they are not as good.

If you get stuck finding these hair products they are on sale in Home Bargains for £1.69 each but the shop doesn't stock the whole range, I only saw a couple of shampoos, conditioners & some hair paste.

absoute bargain, went yesterday bought a silent night memory mattres £199.00 and 2 silent night pillows, pillows rrp £53 each - bought 2 for £19.19. ....great
just out of interest what are the next best mattresses before memory foam?
nice ....heat and rep added
Hi I haven't voted cold on this but I got a 20cm memory foam mattress that was £759 in the sale for £300 from sleepright the bed store and two Coolmax pillows that were £119 each for £25 each on the 29/12/2008.

I genuinely do not believe that 4cm of memory foam will make much of a difference in fact I think the title of this mattress and its discription are misleading and TJ Hughes could be under fire from the Trading Standards Agency.

Where is the best place/best deal to get a Tempur one? As have fancied one for a while-so to speak!

We got ours at a local store who had better prices than the internet stores. Also, you can get the VAT off if you have a medical reason for the bed. I'm disabled and only had to fill in a short form in-store. I think this is only true of the Tempur mattresses as they are classed as medical, unlike other memory foam beds.
