Another thing to watch is using biological washing powder - these contain enzymes which are designed NOT to be fuly washed out - when you sweat it activates them a lot of skin problems are caused by the enzymes eating you not the bacteria that causes smell and dirt.

I remember in 1986 when persil biological was released and they dropped the (then) non-bio - I was prescribed by my doctor persil normal (as it was then called). I always will remember the looks I got in the Boots in Aberdeen arriving to pick up my 'prescription' and been given 4 boxes of
Two of my kids have had really bad eczema, we are talking head to toe at times. Over the years we have tried everything, and we often get other parents say - have you tried xxx, it really works. So we try it, and yes most of these creams do make a difference, sometimes we even think we are onto something special.

But always it comes back, sometimes worse. The issue is there are so many other factors that come into play; diet, washing, tap water, sun, feeling down and these can often make you think you have discovered the magic solution. So I tend to ignore these miracle creams suggested by other parents who's kids once had a small patch of eczema, we have been through most.

Sudocrem, sometimes wet wrapped through the night when its bad is the most consistent for us. So my advise to parent who's kids have bad eczema is try whatever but, have Sudocrem to fall back on.
LMAO take it easy guys, why pay for something when you can get it for free. Dont have a go at her for doing something any other person would. I'd much rather the NHS budget was spent on giving medical treatment to people who need it in the form of a prescription or surgery etc than it being wasted on a stomach pump for a p***head or surgery for a chain smoker.

Bottom line is she qualifies for free prescriptions so why would you not get what you need for free? :S
my doctor just gave me a prescription for one of these for my baby. Why pay If the nhs are offering to pay!

Thats good you can go back and tell the dad the good news - if you know who he is................I dare say you'll meet up next time you go and get your benefits.

Think you might find the NHS is already in the gutter.
Has been for years. Since the rise of fat cat pay deals for managers alongside mass immigration of people who mostly do not pay in to support it.
Its yet another fine example of a great idea that was taken advantage of, poorly managed and now ends up in ruins.
add it to to privatisation of the rail system and power and utility companies.
Creams a good price though!
