I can see that some people are underwhelmed by this offer, but actually, Lewin's shirts are made to a pretty high quality. They often do a two-for-one offer, so their prices are usually quite keen anyway but this offer isn't bad at all if you're in the market for well cut shirts. I have several, and I even bought one for my wife. Their cut for ladies is very good and as long as the lady in question isn't overweight, the cut can be flattering. This one gets my vote.

Great find, heat added (although it may well end up being a pointless task due to the nature of the site)

why cold ?

Can anyone who has bought these shirts before say anything about the slim fit versus the regular fit? I couldn't see anything on the website to indicate how much the chest would differ between the two, I'm a fairly big guy but I often find the regular fit too baggy on other brands.

I'm afraid that my slim fit days are long gone, and buy only standard fit now. I would call your nearest shop and ask the question.

The slim fit are effectively stitched at the back. If you have any kind of gut you'll need regular even though they are quite baggy... Great quality shirts though.

oh well, regular it is then!

I've bought about a dozen of their shirts because they offer longer 36" and 38" sleeve lengths - which I haven't found anywhere I else in this price range.

I generally buy the Windsor Slim Fit or Roverto shirts. I would say they are good rather than great quality shirts because the sleeves and collars soon lose their, er, stiffness.

I bought mine principally because they do some funky designs, especially the Roverto range.

With regard to the question of fit, the slim fit are not skinny fit, so I find they have plenty of room: even the fully-fitted Roverto shirts.

I got some a few years ago but they took too much ironing :(

Yep......nice looking shirts with some funky patterns, but you spend all day ironing them and then after 5mins on your back you look like you've slept in it. :?

As for Slim vs. Regular, I've worn both but I must say that the Slim fit tends to be far too tight under the arms. They're fine as a evening shirt for a few hours, but wear one all day at work and you'll want to rip the thing off (unless your the shape of a pencil that is).

I don't find that they looked slept-in after wearing my shirts for a short while. You are switching on the iron first, right? ;-)

PS, is that Alizée in your Avatar?
