Best Book I have ever read.
Ah, teachers all over the UK will be stocking up. :)
voted hot...although it reminds me of High school..where we HAD to read it

yup me too....

annoying having to read same page over and over and over again....

picked it up again about a yer ago and its still an amazing book
Best Book I have ever read.

better than the 'horrible histories' series!? :?
The best book ever I love it got my own copy and I am going to make sure all my children read it!
thanks for the memory.....

I read this at school for 'O' level as well as Of Mice and Men and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which would be probably be deemed racist now the amount of unappropriate language in it!
Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the Penguin £1 classics version?

Or is it no longer in print?
The first book I read from cover to cover, Damn you Ms Harvey, good deal though!
studied the book in school for 1 year. Now cant STAND it. Most likely my American English teacher at the time with the strongest American acent ever has something to do with my unliking of this book.
I read this for the first time about 6 months ago. Found the majority of the book actually quite dull.
Brilliant book - although don't forget to support your local library for free when you can!
Or Amazon Prime customers can have it delivered swifter and pay 5 pence less:thumbsup:
I saw this instore at Asda for £3 a couple of weeks ago.
M&S were almost giving these away free a few weeks ago

Still my fave book 11 years after reading it for GCSE.
