New Model Army's latest album. Cheaper than in the shops.

It's their best album of recent times and has a harder, rocky-er edge than recent offerings.

They are tragically undervalued in the UK, but with a devoted following who make all their gigs sell-outs with electric aomospheres.

Try this album and discover one of the UK's best post-punk/rock bands.

Voted cold as this seems to be standard price.

Having seen them back in the eighties/early nineties, I was struck when I saw them more recently at a couple of festivals at how little they'd developed and moved on for a band that's been going continuously for so long.

I think they've developed significantly. The crowd may look the same, but the music has altered with time. Yes they still have their "sound", but so do many bands. U2 keep making the same album over and over, as did Oasis and many more.

What have Oasis and U2 got to do with this deal ? Michael Jackson could have jumped out of his grave and made a new CD but it would still be pricey at £8.95.

This site is for DEALS, not for fanboys . . . :x

Oooh! Get you. calm down. An album of new songs pricey at £8.95?. Maybe that's too much for back catalogue stuff these days, but for a new CD it's a good price.

So what if I'm a fan? I'm still promoting a good price for a good product. Are there any rules about having opinions about products too? I was using the other bands as a way of making a comparison ( i presume you understand that technique), so as to respond to the previous posters expressed view. Do you get it now?

High horse anyone?

Comparing NMA (yes I have seen them several times) to Oasis is like comparing Poundland to Harrods :whistling:

Yep £8.95 is hardly a deal, same price at amazon and hmv anyway. I picked up the Monkey's Humbug for £4.99 on the week of it's release thanks to a DEAL posted on here

Do you get what a DEAL is now ?

Arctic Monkeys and Oasis? Pub rock at it's worst! ;-)
