Get the most from your games and movies with the adrenaline-pumping surround sound of the Logitech X-530. Its subwoofer and satellites use the latest technological advances to ensure consistent audio at any volume.

Plug the Logitech X-530 into your PC, music player, DVD player, or even your PlayStation® or Xbox® game console and immerse yourself in clean, crisp, consistent surround sound from your games, movies, and more. The high-tech subwoofer adjusts itself dynamically to deliver distortion-free bass. And the five wall-mountable satellite speakers use Logitech's patented FDD2 technology to eliminate the uneven sound response created by conventional dual-driver designs. The result: a clear, uniform sound field without the "hot spots" and inconsistency of other dual-driver satellites.

Its actually £48.90 when you add postage. Amazon is selling for £49.98 with free delivery. I'd be inclined to order from Amazon as I dont know Scan supplier well. Plus I can get Nectar reward points with Amazon.

Thanks for notification though, StealMySoda. its a great deal still and gets 4/5% stars on Amazon.

Says no in the technical specs, input is 3.5mm jack. I'd be interested for my xbox 360 but I don't know how it would do 5.1.

I know how to connect it with a HDMI and the audio lead, but do I need a decoder or anything extra to hook this to my elite?
I'm completely uneducated on speakers, are these the ones that you have in the corners of your room, and the sub say behind the tv? Or am I completely wrong? lol

Just don't buy this if your planning on anything except listening to booms etc, it's a very bad speaker for anything else, films and music are completely awful; This before me getting an improved system this week, by then I'm sure my opinion on this is that it'll be even worse :D

As I watch movies via my XBOX in a fair size living room , I also have a HD television ..would this be any good as a home theatre system? Obviously it won't be as good as the £200-300 dedicated systems out there but for someone who hasnt that much disposable income would this add muchj to my movie watching experience?

To be honest. I'd think so. If your simply using the speakers on your TV at the moment, even adding just the subwoofer to your setup will increase the quality of your experience. And if you find out it's not worth it, Scan are really good at 'returns'. They offered me a full refund on an item before I even suggested it (I stuck with the item in the end), just because I had a teeny little problem with it.
