Awww man, why'd you have to go and do this to me?

I think I'm gonna have to get one. =p

Anyone know if they do interest free credit over a couple of months? Don't *need* it, but it would be more easily justifiable if it went out more gradually =D

Don't buy it! It's not fullHD or free range!! In fact, as a vegetarian, I oppose all meat-killing televisions!

It's not a good TV, it's a cheap model of the Panasonic plasma tv!!

If you plan to go for a Panasonic TV, wait until the V10 or the G10 model come down in price (very soon). As the new models are about to get released!!

Not true, reviews say this isnt a bad TV at all.
#25
Good TV however I have 46'' G10 and that is way better i.e Neopdp panel, 600Hz etc - so my advice is to go for G10 over S10.
I did pay more for it of course so if money is tight then this is a good deal for a 50''.
#26
Not so good a price if you want a 5yr warranty £831.56. If you can find any stock £769.90 at Richer did phone my local branch said they could order it in. I have a feeling they don't like to say they have stock in case it's another store after a price match?

Don't forget if you find one in stock better deal to go to JL for a price match @ £699.95 + free five yr warranty.
#27
The s10 has almost an identical display to the g10 according to a lot of reviews. It just doesn't have built in free sat.

This years s and g models are going to have noticeable difference s20 and g20 I believe they will be called.
#29
What is it with that store?

9 times out of 10 it doesn't recognise my correctly input password, first order discount code wouldn't apply when I tried it and the 10% off doesn't come off the total when I tried with this.

Had an eye on this set for a while to get for watching the world cup.

Addendum. Nevermind. Sorted.

Copy/paste of codes was the problem.....typing them in works.

I assume using both the first order discount and the EXTRA10 discount is not possible?

They LOOK awesome on these screens - Ive got my PS3 on a 50" samsung. However if u wanna be any good, id say stick with a 26 - 32" screen. I find it much harder for example on COD now than on my old 28" screen... just my opinion :) Good for the footy though!

Hot deal by the way.

Ok, have to say this due to a previous comment made a page or two back. Please note this S10 and the far superior G10 use a completly different panel - and not as somebody earlier incorrectly stated that the only difference is FreeSat!!!

The G10 has the latest VReal4 PRO processor onboard (not the VReal3 like the S10) and is also 600Hz . It more importantly has the latest Neo-PDP panel with deeper blacks, more shades of grey and better contrast ratio and thus an overall better picture quality. Please note that for the energy efficient concious amongst us that the G10 also uses approx 40% less power than the S10 too!!

I'd advise anybody and everybody to wait a short while for the G10 to come down in price as it's a vastly superior TV and I promise you'll be glad you waited.
#32
trying to find a link which I read yesterday but can't find it. They had the 50s10 and G10 side by side and were comparing black levels which were almost identical.

It's still a good set regardless. The G10 is selling out in a few stores now to make way for the G20 so you may be lucky and get a cheap one towards the end of the product phase.
#34
Don't get me wrong for £600 the S10 isn't a 'bad' TV - I'm just simply saying and advising others to wait till the end of the month when the G20 is released and the G10 will soon come down in price there after to nearer this price point and the G10 is one hell of a better TV than the S10 (I've owned both). I appreciate this is a bargain forum but please check out other owners comments on the AVForums before splashing out your hard earnt on a TV :)
#35
I think this model is very very similar to the old PZ80 screens..... which people (including myself) were very happy with.
suspended#36
Spent a long time reviewing the G10 and S10.

G10 is the better TV overall but S10 is on par for a lot of things.

I plumped for the 42" S10 and its a great tv.
#37
I currently have the 42px60 but am gonna save for while to get the TX-P50V20 I think!!

By the time I save up enough the next range will be announced!

Was wondering this also... have tried but cant seem to get it to accept both(greedy I know?).. have you had any joy?
#40
No......couldn't see how one could use two codes so just used the EXTRA10 code, entered manually.

15% would have been nice but then 24 hours ago I was quite happy with 5% so this new offer was well timed :)
