What type of battery does it use?

I bought something like this from Lidl a couple of months ago. The problem was that when you run it off a mains adapter, the projection display is permanent. If you run it off batteries, you have to press the button for it to project for a few seconds. I wanted the second option where it only projects for a few seconds when you press the button as I wanted to use it by the bed and I don't want the time shining down from the ceiling all night.

That meant I had to run it on batteries, so I'd like to know if this one can run off mains without a permanent projection. (Oo-er missus )

Rubbish games or software that you will never use. I was actually disappointed :-(

Yeah I too would be interested in knowing if this can be run off batteries only, and what type of batteries are required (assuming it won't come with batteries).

I would like to know as well,
As I would prefer one that runs off mains power rather than batteries.

Just ordered, for £3 it's worth a punt wheter it runs off batteries or not :)

These are rubbish, I keep receiving them for Christmas. It would really wind me up to have to look at this cheap piece of crap every morning.

The ones i always get run from those batteries that you put on your tongue for a little shock. :)
