but then take toilet seat back to your local extra store and get refund of £19.98 :P

This does'nt always work,as i returned something and only got back what i paid,be careful with trying this...and it seems to depend on store and CSA...i had a jobsworth  that checked all the delivery note exactly....

Is the seat made out of soft material rather than hard plastic?

It's hard plastic,or resin is another way of saying this....

So people are going to return the toilet seat in the hope of getting back 4 times what they paid? Think Tesco will be onto this one pretty quickly!

p.s. I saw this a minute ago and that is one awful toilet seat!
#11
I'd go for the £5 sim though as you get £11 of credit instead of £1

People are going with the value sim which has no credit but they are returning it to store.

If you are going to make use of it or sell it instead then definately go with the one you've quoted.
#13
is there anything els to order everything seems to be out of stock

I think voucher deals etc are great and using them to get money off is great but being totally dishonest and buying stuff to try and scam workers into giving the full amount back is awful. You have no way of knowing whether that member of staff is new or will get in trouble if it's discovered or anything - shame on you who try!

Very true!

When the managers find that there's alot of money missing because staff have given out 4x what people paid then people are going to be in alot of trouble. The staff are under enough pressure as it is without people trying to trick them into giving more money back.

Fair enough you are hoping that they make a mistake but it's dodgy ground really. If you want the toilet seat then get it but don't try to make profit from taking it back. Plus when they start checking these things you can bet your bottom dollar they'll either make you wait ages or make you look silly in front of people in the shop. Not worth it for a possible £20 IMO.

I just got 2 chrome toilet brushes & the sim card for £3.45 using this deal.

The majority of items are out of stock though. Toilet brushes were £8 each.

Looks like a good deal to me. Thanks

Forgot to say - took the order up to £20 by adding a "plug" !

Just a thought, if your student or have a son/daughter moving into cheap digs with dodgy toilet seat, getting this for £0.01p would be great,as i don't think some students are that worried about the style of a loo seat...:) but the price will suit them:thumbsup:

I've voted hot on this. although i dislike the toilet seat, Hotscot rightly said that others might.

Whilst others are talking about returning goods and trying to get 4 x the value back, this is not what this post is about and not what Hotscot has indicated.

£3.46 for a toilet seat and sim card delivered is a hot deal imho and votes should be indicated for that alone.
#21
oh i thought the value sim had £10 on as i ordered that mp3 player thing other day with sim thinking it had £10 on it ;(

people buying things though just to return because they want to make a profit is really classed as stealing...as your doing it knowing full well you paid lower then there giving you back, Tesco will stop doing offers like these if people keep finding ways to abuse it and spoil it for others by being to greedy

Thank you  for clearing this up.......returning the sim is mentioned as an option,if i did'nt mention this, soneone else would have......i never mentioned returning the actual toilet seat  as I mentioned before...this does'nt always work...... please don't buy this seat on the off chance of getting more money back, just in case Tesco catch on,esp if they have your details etc about returns......:)

The £5 value sim has £10 credit on.

The £3.47 value sim has no credit.

Did you order a sim? Are you sure they've charged you? It shows as being charged and then later on your invoice it'll show as refunded.

Are you putting it in an unlocked phone?

Value sim has no credit, as far as I know all the other sims (orange, vodafone etc) don't have any credit either. The only one that does (apart from the £5 ones with £10 obviously) is the tesco standard sim with £1.

edit - the others do but far better value to get the tesco one.

o2 - £2.50
orange - £1
t-mobile, virgin, vodafone - nothing!

Tesco mobile standard & extra - £1
Tesco value - nothing!

£10 credit for £5 on Tesco tho.

I know the phone but don't know if it's unlocked! At a guess it's probably locked to Virgin.
