Tom Tom Go 530 £100.00 instore @ Morrisons.

This is my first deal posted so apologies if I've omitted anything. Just been in Morrisons off Parkway, Sheffield and picked up the very last Tom Tom Go 530 (UK & ROI) for £100 exactly. The cheapest I could find online was around the £160-£170 mark. It is £120 refurbished from Tom Tom themselves. I think Morrisons are selling off a range of Sat Navs as some Navmans looked good deals too. Might be worth checking your local store

they had these in Halfway (Sheffield) but sold out pretty quickly. so is a valid deal (heat added).

you can also pick up a tomtom one v4 for £70
#5
DJNG22 - I'm not boasting. I'm simply informing others that there may be a deal for them in their local morrisons. Sorry that you can't appreciate that.

1on4, yes I'm sure I saw some ipods but didn't take much notice of them as I was too busy with my laptop googling prices for the sats.

Quickly sold out in another shop, chances are sold out everyelse quickly as well so not really a valid deal by your own reasoning

I was just stating that it was a genuine deal and available in other stores, unlike some of the made-up deals you see on here.

Had someone not posted the hard-drive offer, I wouldn't have popped in and managed to get 1 of each, so the OP should get some credit for bothering to post this as it is a genuine deal.

Yes, they may be few and far between as it's an excellent price, but there may be one in someones local store.

There was one left in the Edinburgh Granton store last night at about 7pm. I did not get it.
#10
great deal if you can get it.

the Refurb from the TomTom outet does not come with the latest map whereas these will (via free online update)

what day were the hard drives posted, wasn't monday when the sale started by any chance?

This deal was posted over the weekend for the hard drives. I thought they would have gone everywhere, however popped into my local store on Monday night and managed to get them.

They also still had the ipod Nano's that were on offer, and yesterday had the ipod Touch deal, but again these were sold out pretty quickly.

It's the luck of the draw at the end of the day. I checked my local store and managed to bag some bargains, so am more than happy the deal was posted on here.

All these negative comments just because some people can't benefit are pretty pathetic IMO.

It's a genuine deal, seen in more than one store so should get the credit it deserves.

don't you mean 99.99% of people won't benefit, if you think 1 person finding a solitary 1 left(still to be proven as no one has posted saying they've found any) makes this a genuine hot deal i feel sorry for you

Yeah, whats the point in posting a deal unless 100% of readers are going to benefit?

Don't be ridiculous. I am sure you have taken advantage of some posts that 99.9% of people didn't. If your attitude is sustained this community will be reluctant to post potentially amazing deals.

THere was one in St Albans last night if anyones interested- still priced on the shelf at full price (didnt enquire as to whether it was reduced).

Did it stand out because it was £229 when it came out 2 years ago and has since been replaced by the SX120 which you can get for £136.80 @ amazon, which made you think isn't an obsolete model a bit overpriced at £100?

yes it was the price... but just because something is newer, doesn't always mean it's better!!!! ... The sx110 isn't selling for under £150 when I had a quick look, somebody might just prefer this model.... the sx110 is £196 on amazon...
#19
Voting hot to offset those voting cold for the wrong reasons.

Personally I don't think a TT530 is particularly good value for money at £100, but that's purely because TomTom is in-general overpriced.
#20
if someone posts another morrisons deal i will have to come slap them

edit: although posting deals which only a few people can get is still a good idea in my opinion, because how would people on this website ever find out about them if people never posted them or they never got hot. If people vote very deal which has for example a 10% or less availability for everyone on the forum how the hell would the 10% find out?!?!?!?!? if just a few people manage to get the deal on this site that's brilliant in my opinion.

Your clearly have missed the point, this item is likely to have been sold out ages ago with 1 in 60000000 people possibly benefiting from it, if that makes good sense to you i suggest you buy a lottery ticket because going by your logic you'll win the jackpot every week

I don't think I missed the point at all. If this deal is picked up by one other person, than surely it has done some good. That makes more sense than not giving back to this online community at all.

You cannot condemn these deals just because you don't think you will benefit. The OP is spending their time, potentially doing a good deed for 1, 2 or 1000 people. It doesn't matter how many.

EDIT: Also, your mention of the lottery is not at all direct comparison. If you want to discuss these issues, be reasonable.

Preston has 3 left, just got a 530 and a ONE for £100 & £60 respectivly. They also has Navmans for £39.98 and kodak cameras 10MP for £27.98 (didnt bother as AA batteries, but a bargain nonetheless)

Thanks to the OP, i appreciate it even if some other don't!
#26
Having just returned from Haverfordwest Morrisons, I can confirm that there is atleast one (on display). I didn't inquire as I didn't need any. So this DEAL is genuine. Thanks OP. Heated. ! !

Picked up 2 of these at my local Glasgow store (Shawlands). Thanks :)
#29
I wouldnt mind one of these but chance of finding one is rather slim?
#30
There were two of these left at the Bredbury Branch at 7:00pm.
#31
Yesterday i commented on a piano being at a good price and i have no intention of getting one so your claim i'm not benefiting so its cold excuse is lame
No one has yet to say they have seen one today at this price so your voting a potentially non existent deal hot and then you have the nerve to say to me be reasonable lol

I don't think I need to say any more, the rest of the comments on this thread sum it up. In future please do not discourage these threads.

Thanks very much for the heads up on this offer. I went to the Edinburgh branch and managed to get one of these. I also got a Netbook for £160 and a laptop for £200 (reduced from £399). Very pleased with my bargains!
